This is what the Lord says:‘ If I have not made my covenant with day and night and established the laws of heaven and earth,

I say,‘ What if I had not made my covenant with day and night? What if I had not established the laws of heaven and earth?

Thus says the Lord: If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed order of heaven and earth,

But this is what the Lord says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky.

This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

This is what the Lord says:‘ If My covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have not established the fixed patterns of heaven and earth,

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,

Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep My covenant with the day and with the night and fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant[ be] not with day and night,[ and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.

Yahweh says:“ If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon.It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter. (niv)

He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. (niv)

This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name:“ Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord,“ will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” (niv)

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time, (niv)

“ As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (niv)

“ I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after youand with every living creature that was with you— the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you— every living creature on earth.I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”And God said,“ This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”So God said to Noah,“ This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.” (niv)
