I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless as the stars in the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.’”

Here is what I will do for my servant David. And here is what I will do for the Levites who serve me. I will make their children after them as many as the stars in the sky. And I will make them as many as the grains of sand on the seashore. It will be impossible to count them.”

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered and the sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the offspring of David my servant, and the Levitical priests who minister to me.”

必錫爾嘏、昌熾爾裔、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾裔必據諸敵之邑、

遂攜之出、曰、仰觀於天、眾星可核數乎、又曰、汝苗裔必如是、

我僕大衛必為其王、斯眾惟有一牧、循我律例、守我典章、而遵行之、彼與子孫、必永居於我賜我僕雅各、厥祖所居之地、我僕大衛必為其君、歷世弗替、我必與立平和之約、永世不廢、使其安居、生齒繁衍、設我聖所於其中、迄於永久、我幕亦在其中、我為其上帝、彼為我民、

我自其中、簡人為祭司、為利未人、耶和華言之矣、

故自一人猶已死者、生育如天星之繁多、海沙之無數、○

如能上度穹蒼、下測地基、則我因以色列裔所為、必遺棄之、耶和華言之矣、

使爾苗裔如塵埃然、有能核塵埃之數者、則爾苗裔、亦可計矣、

若子若孫、必奉事之、主之經營、必傳後世兮、

以色列人數、將若海沙、不能量數、昔於何處謂之曰、爾非我民、後則於彼謂之曰、爾乃維生上帝之子、

此後我見大眾不可勝數、自諸國諸族諸民諸方、立於座前、及羔之前、衣白衣、執椶枝、大聲呼曰、拯救歸於居座者、上帝及羔矣、

是日耶和華必扞衛耶路撒冷居民、其中懦弱者將如大衛、大衛家將如上帝、如耶和華之使、在於其前者、

我與所簡之人立約、對於我僕大衛宣誓兮、必立爾裔於永久、堅爾位至萬世兮、

耶和華願損傷之、俾遘病患、彼獻己生為贖罪祭、必見厥裔、其壽綿長、耶和華之志、藉其手而大成、主曰、彼必見其艱苦之果、遂得滿志、我之義僕、將以其知識、俾多人為義、而任其過、我必使其與大人共業、與強者分財、以其傾厥生命、至於死亡、與罪人同列、實負多人之咎、為干罪者祈焉、

我必永延其裔、俾其位如天悠久兮、

主耶和華曰、昔以色列族迷途離我時、利未人祭司、撒督之裔、尚守我聖所者、可近而奉事我、侍立我前、獻脂與血於我、

爾裔必繁衍如土塵、蔓延四方、天下萬民、將緣爾與裔而獲福、
