則我與我僕大衛所立之約亦可廢、使彼乏嗣以踐其位、事我之祭司利未人、其約亦可廢焉、

則我與僕大闢約、言必有後、以踐國位、及我與利未人祭司約、言不乏人、以服事我、斯約亦可廢。

則我與我僕大衛所立之約亦可廢、使無後嗣坐其位為王、我與事我之利未人、及祭司所立之約亦可廢、

then my covenant with David my servant— and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me— can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.

Only then could my covenant with my servant David be broken. Only then could my covenant with the Levites who serve me as priests be broken. Only then would David no longer have someone from his family line to rule on his throne.

then also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers.

could my covenant with my servant David and my covenant with the Levites ever be broken. So David will by all means always have a descendant to occupy his throne as king and the Levites will by all means always have priests who will minister before me.

我就必鞏固你的國位，好像我和你父親大衛所立的約說：‘你的子孫必不會斷人作君王統治以色列。’

我必不違背我的約，也不改變我口中所出的話。

我的家在神面前不是這樣嗎？他與我立了永遠的約；這約安排了一切，穩固妥當。我的一切救恩、一切願望，他不都成全嗎？

耶和華因為自己和大衛所立的約，不願消滅大衛家；卻照著他應許的，永遠賜燈光給大衛和他的子孫。

他將要被尊為大，稱為至高者的兒子，主神要把他祖大衛的王位賜給他，他要作王統治雅各家，直到永遠，他的國沒有窮盡。”

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

使他們成為我們神的國度和祭司，他們要在地上執掌王權。”

在他僕人大衛家中，為我們興起救恩的角，正如主自古以來藉聖先知口中所說的，

因為有一個嬰孩為我們而生，有一個兒子賜給我們；政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他的名必稱為“奇妙的策士、全能的神、永恆的父、和平的君”。他的政權與平安必無窮無盡地增加，他在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平和公義使國堅立穩固，從現在直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成全這事。

得了權柄、尊榮和國度；各國、各族和說各種語言的人都事奉他。他的權柄是永遠的權柄，是不能廢去的；他的國度是永不毀滅的。

利未人的祭司也必不斷有人在我面前獻上燔祭和燒素祭；獻祭的事永不止息。’”

耶和華實實在在向大衛起了誓，他必不會收回，他說：“我要從你的後裔中，立一位坐在你的王位上。如果你的子孫謹守我的約，和我教訓他們的法度，他們的子孫也必永遠坐在你的王位上。”

我要在那裡使大衛的角長起來，我要為我的受膏者安排明燈。

你們要側耳而聽，要到我這裡來；你們要聽，就可以存活；我必與你們立永遠的約，就是應許賜給大衛的那確實的慈愛。
