“那創造、塑造和堅定大地的是耶和華，耶和華是他的名。他這樣說：

“成就的是耶和华，造作、为要建立的也是耶和华；耶和华是他的名。他如此说：

“耶和华创造大地，使其成形、根基稳固，祂名叫耶和华。祂说，

主如是云、作之者我、造之者我、定之者我、或作主如是云行作在我成就在我建立在我主我名也、

Thus saith Jehovah that doeth it, Jehovah that formeth it to establish it; Jehovah is his name:

“ The Lord who made the earth, the Lord who forms it to establish it, Yahweh is His name, says this:

Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD[ is] his name;

“ I, the LORD, do these things. I, the LORD, form the plan to bring them about. I am known as the LORD. I say to you,

“ Yahweh who does it, Yahweh who forms it to establish it— Yahweh is his name, says:

耶和華是戰士，他的名是耶和華。

我曾向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現為全能的神，至於我的名字‘耶和華’，他們是不認識的。

耶和華說：‘難道你沒有聽見古時我所安排，往昔所計劃的嗎？現在我才使它成就，使堅固的城鎮荒廢，變作亂堆。

神回答摩西：“我是‘自有永有者’。”又說：“你要對以色列人這樣說：‘那自有者派我到你們這裡來。’”神又對摩西說：“你要對以色列人這樣說：‘耶和華你們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神，差遣我到你們這裡來；這就是我永久的名字，也是世世代代中我被記念的名字。’

人要怎樣回答外族的使者呢？要說：“耶和華建立了錫安，他子民中的困苦人必在其中避難。”

就是我為自己所造的子民，好使他們述說讚美我的話。

你們也不要讓神靜止，直至他建立耶路撒冷，等到他使耶路撒冷在地上成為受人讚美的城。

那在天上建立樓閣，在大地之上奠立穹蒼；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和華就是他的名。

你向千萬人施慈愛，又把父親的罪孽都報應在他們的兒女身上。你是偉大、有能力的神，萬軍之耶和華是你（“你”原文作“他”）的名。

我在靈裡被那天使帶到一座高大的山上，他把從天上由神那裡降下來的聖城耶路撒冷指示我。

但是現在他們所嚮往的，是一個更美的、在天上的家鄉。所以，神不以他們稱他為神而覺得羞恥；因為他已經為他們預備了一座城。

因為耶和華必建造錫安，在他自己的榮耀裡顯現。

但是，雅各啊！那創造你的耶和華，以色列啊！那塑造你的主，現在這樣說：“不要懼怕，因為我救贖了你；我按著你的名呼召了你；你是屬我的。

那作雅各產業的並不像這些偶像，因為他是萬物的創造者；以色列是屬他的民族，萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

因為他等待那座有根基的城，就是神所設計所建造的。

論到錫安，必有話說：“這一個、那一個都是生在錫安的。”至高者必親自堅立這城。

我又看見聖城，新耶路撒冷，從天上由神那裡降下來，預備好了，好像打扮整齊等候丈夫的新娘。

那創造昴星和參星，把幽暗變為黎明，把白日轉為黑夜；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和華就是他的名。
