While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him a second time:

Jeremiah was still being held as a prisoner. He was kept in the courtyard of the guard. Then another message from the Lord came to him. The Lord said,

While he was still confined in the guard’s courtyard, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time:

The LORD spoke to Jeremiah a second time while he was still confined in the courtyard of the guardhouse.

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still locked up in the court of the guard, saying,

Then King Zedekiah gave a command, and they placed Jeremiah in custody in the courtyard of the guardhouse, and gave him a loaf of bread daily from the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guardhouse.

So Jeremiah stayed in the courtyard of the guard until the day that Jerusalem was captured.

Now at that time the army of the king of Babylon was besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was imprisoned in the courtyard of the guard, which was at the house of the king of Judah,because Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him, saying,“ Why do you prophesy, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am going to hand this city over to the king of Babylon, and he will take it;

Then my uncle’s son Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard in accordance with the word of the Lord and said to me,‘ Buy my field, please, that is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for you have the right of possession and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

for which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned.
