“ Then my cousin Hanamel came to me. I was in the courtyard of the guard. It happened just as the Lord had said it would. Hanamel said,‘ Buy my field at Anathoth. It is in the territory of Benjamin. It is your right to buy it and own it. So buy it for yourself.’“ I knew that this was the Lord’ s message.

Then Hanamel my cousin came to me in the court of the guard, in accordance with the word of the Lord, and said to me,‘ Buy my field that is at Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, for the right of possession and redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

Then, just as the Lord had said he would, my cousin Hanamel came and visited me in the prison. He said,“ Please buy my field at Anathoth in the land of Benjamin. By law you have the right to buy it before it is offered to anyone else, so buy it for yourself.” Then I knew that the message I had heard was from the Lord.

“ Then, as the LORD had said, my cousin Hanamel came to the guard’s courtyard and urged me,‘ Please buy my field in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, for you own the right of inheritance and redemption. Buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

Then my uncle’s son Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard in accordance with the word of the Lord and said to me,‘ Buy my field, please, that is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for you have the right of possession and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

Then Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord, and said to me,‘ Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

So Hanamel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of Jehovah, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of Jehovah.

“ Then my cousin Hanamel came to the guard’s courtyard as the Lord had said and urged me,‘ Please buy my field in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, for you own the right of inheritance and redemption. Buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that[ is] in Anathoth, which[ is] in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance[ is] thine, and the redemption[ is] thine; buy[ it] for thyself. Then I knew that this[ was] the word of the LORD.

Now it happened just as the LORD had said! My cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guardhouse. He said to me,‘ Buy my field which is at Anathoth in the territory of the tribe of Benjamin. Buy it for yourself since you are entitled as my closest relative to take possession of it for yourself.’ When this happened, I recognized that the LORD had indeed spoken to me.

“ So Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to Yahweh’s word, and said to me,‘ Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours. Buy it for yourself.’“ Then I knew that this was Yahweh’s word.

Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say,‘ Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.’

The army of the king of Babylon was then besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was confined in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace of Judah.

While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him a second time:

“ Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. Three men going up to worship God at Bethel will meet you there. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves of bread, and another a skin of wine.They will greet you and offer you two loaves of bread, which you will accept from them.“ After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying.The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

Micaiah replied,“ You will find out on the day you go to hide in an inner room.”

“ About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him ruler over my people Israel; he will deliver them from the hand of the Philistines. I have looked on my people, for their cry has reached me.”When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him,“ This is the man I spoke to you about; he will govern my people.”

It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord.

Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him,“ Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed.

To Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go back to your fields in Anathoth. You deserve to die, but I will not put you to death now, because you carried the ark of the Sovereign Lord before my father David and shared all my father’s hardships.”

While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate.They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him,“ Simon, three men are looking for you.So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”Peter went down and said to the men,“ I’m the one you’re looking for. Why have you come?”The men replied,“ We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God- fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say.”Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests. The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the believers from Joppa went along.The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends.As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence.But Peter made him get up.“ Stand up,” he said,“ I am only a man myself.”While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people.He said to them:“ You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.

And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. The total number of towns distributed among the Kohathite clans came to thirteen.
