‘看哪！你叔叔沙龙的儿子哈拿篾必来见你，说：请你买下我在亚拿突的那块田地，因为你有近亲的权利和义务去买那田地。’

爾叔沙龍子哈拿篾、將詣爾曰、我在亞拿突之田、請爾購之、蓋贖此田、乃爾所宜、爾可購之、

爾叔沙龍之子、哈拿滅將至、請爾贖其田疇、斯田在亞拿突邑、所當贖者、惟爾一人。

爾叔沙龍子哈拿篾將詣爾所、告爾曰、我有田在亞拿突、請爾購之、爾乃我族人、購之相宜、

Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say,‘ Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.’

‘ Hanamel is going to come to you. He is the son of your uncle Shallum. Hanamel will say,“ Buy my field at Anathoth. You are my closest relative. So it’s your right and duty to buy it.” ’

Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you and say,‘ Buy my field that is at Anathoth, for the right of redemption by purchase is yours.’

“ Your cousin Hanamel son of Shallum will come and say to you,‘ Buy my field at Anathoth. By law you have the right to buy it before it is offered to anyone else.’”

Watch! Hanamel, the son of your uncle Shallum, is coming to you to say,‘ Buy my field in Anathoth for yourself, for you own the right of redemption to buy it.’

‘ Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying,“ Buy my field which is in Anathoth, for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.”’

Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth; for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.

Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that[ is] in Anathoth: for the right of redemption[ is] thine to buy[ it].

‘ Hanamel, the son of your uncle Shallum, will come to you soon. He will say to you,“ Buy my field at Anathoth because you are entitled as my closest relative to buy it.”’

‘ Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying,“ Buy my field that is in Anathoth; for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.”’”

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin,

Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the people of Anathoth, who are seeking your life, saying:“ Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, so that you do not die by our hand”;

‘ If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor that he sells part of his property, then his closest redeemer is to come and buy back what his relative has sold.

or his uncle, or his uncle’s son may redeem him, or one of his blood relatives from his family may redeem him; or if he prospers, he may redeem himself.

Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands; four cities.All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.

Redeem it for yourself; you may have my right of redemption, since I cannot redeem it.”Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning the redemption and the exchange of land to confirm any matter: a man removed his sandal and gave it to another; and this was the way of confirmation in Israel.So the redeemer said to Boaz,“ Buy it for yourself.” And he removed his sandal.Then Boaz said to the elders and all the people,“ You are witnesses today that I have bought from the hand of Naomi all that belonged to Elimelech and all that belonged to Chilion and Mahlon.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.

Now the Lord had said to Ahijah,“ Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you about her son, because he is sick. You shall say such and such to her, for it will be when she arrives, that she is going to make herself unrecognizable.”

and* said to them,“ Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.And if anyone says to you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord has need of it’; and immediately he will send it back here.”They went away and found a colt tied at the door, outside in the street; and they* untied it.And some of the bystanders were saying to them,“ What are you doing, untying the colt?”And they told them just as Jesus had said, and they gave them permission.

But pasture fields of their cities shall not be sold, for that is their permanent possession.

‘ The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, because the land is Mine; for you are only strangers and residents with Me.
