乃王子背巴比倫王約、遣使至埃及、欲其率軍馬以至、彼行是事、豈能亨通、豈能免難、爽約之人、豈能獲救。

俱必遷於巴比倫、待我眷顧斯民之日、我則使人負載、返於斯土。

抉西底家之目、繫以銅索、被逮於巴比倫、

爾當傳我耶和華之命、曰、斯葡萄豈得枝繁葉盛、鷹將拔其根、所發之枝必槁、毋庸巨邦眾民、刪其根株、葡萄雖為人所植、不復向榮於園囿之中、為東風來搖撼、盡為枯槁。

爾所恃者、為我所棄、俾爾不利、以手抱首、而去其國。

然爾猶大王西底家、宜聽我耶和華之言、我有定命、爾必不亡於刃、爾將死於安樂、爾之列祖先王易簀之時、人爇芬芳之品、哭曰、哀哉我主、爾逝世、人焚香哭爾、亦若是。我耶和華已言之矣。

上帝祐我、為我主宰、祭司吹角、其聲宏遠、以色列族歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、必不得勝。

我張網羅、罹之於中、曳至迦勒底之巴比倫、雖死於彼、亦不得見其地。

浸假攻爾之迦勒底人、為爾所擊、其軍中惟遺被傷之卒、偃於幕下、亦能起、燬斯邑。

祭司耶何耶大子撒加利亞、感上帝之神、當眾前言曰、上帝云、爾違耶和華命曷故、爾必不亨通、爾棄耶和華、耶和華亦棄爾。

以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、巴比倫王、及迦勒底人、環繞爾邑、爾雖與戰、我必使爾倒戈、使迦勒底人入於斯邑。我忿怒殊烈、必以巨力大能攻爾。

耶和華有旨必行、非詭謀所能撓。

摩西曰、奚違耶和華命、爾不得坦途。
