They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded— nor did it enter my mind— that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.

The people built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. That is where they sacrifice their children to Molek in the fire. That is something I did not command. It did not even enter my mind. They did something I hate. They made Judah sin.”

They have built pagan shrines to Baal in the valley of Ben Hinnom, and there they sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech. I have never commanded such a horrible deed; it never even crossed my mind to command such a thing. What an incredible evil, causing Judah to sin so greatly!

并在欣嫩子谷使他的儿子经火，又观星象，行法术，行邪术，求问招魂的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

却行以色列诸王的道，又铸造诸巴力的像，照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，在欣嫩子谷烧香，用火焚烧他的儿女，

他又玷污欣嫩子谷的陀斐特，不许人在那里使儿女经火献给摩洛。

这是因为他犯罪，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，行耶罗波安所行的道，犯他使以色列陷入罪里的那罪。

他们建造巴力的丘坛，要在火中焚烧自己的儿女，作为燔祭献给巴力。这不是我命令的，不是我吩咐的，我心里也从来没有想过。因此，看哪，日子将到，这地方不再称为陀斐特和欣嫩子谷，反倒称为杀戮谷。这是耶和华说的。

“你要对以色列人说：凡以色列人，或是寄居在以色列的外人，把自己儿女献给摩洛的，必被处死；本地的百姓要用石头打死他。我也要向那人变脸，把他从百姓中剪除，因为他把儿女献给摩洛，玷污了我的圣所，亵渎了我的圣名。那人把儿女献给摩洛，本地的百姓若假装没看见，不把他处死，我就要向这人和他的家人变脸，把他和所有跟随他与摩洛行淫的人都从百姓中剪除。

你们在橡树中间，在各青翠的树下欲火攻心；在山谷间，在岩隙下杀了儿女；

玛拿西引诱犹大和耶路撒冷的居民行恶，比耶和华在以色列人面前所灭的列国更严重。

“因犹大王玛拿西行这些可憎的恶事，比先前亚摩利人所行的一切更坏，使犹大人拜偶像，陷入罪里，

你拿你为我所生的儿女献给它们吞噬。你的淫乱岂是小事？你竟把我的儿女杀了，使他们经火献给它们！

因耶罗波安所犯的罪，又因他使以色列陷入罪里，耶和华必将以色列交出来。”

他们把自己的儿女祭祀鬼魔，流无辜人的血，就是自己儿女的血，用他们祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。

这是因为耶罗波安所犯的罪，他使以色列陷入罪里，激怒了耶和华—以色列的上帝。

她们行奸淫，手中有血。她们与偶像行奸淫，使她们为我所生的儿女经火，给它们当食物。

拿答行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，行他父亲所行的道，犯他父亲使以色列陷入罪里的那罪。

那休她的前夫就不可在妇人玷污之后再娶她为妻，因为这是耶和华所憎恶的。不可使耶和华—你上帝所赐为业之地蒙受玷污。

此外，在伯特利丘坛的坛，就是尼八的儿子耶罗波安所筑、使以色列人陷入罪里的，他也把这坛和丘坛都拆毁了，又焚烧丘坛，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉。

摩西对亚伦说：“这百姓向你做了什么呢？你竟使他们陷入大罪中！”

然而，他依恋尼八的儿子耶罗波安使以色列陷入罪里的那罪，总不离开。

你中间不可有人使儿女经火，也不可有占卜的、观星象的、行法术的、行邪术的、

因为他们离弃我，敬拜西顿人的女神亚斯她录、摩押的神明基抹和亚扪人的神明米勒公，没有像他父亲大卫一样遵从我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，守我的律例典章。

我必使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又使以色列陷入罪里。’
