皆因以色列人與猶大人、所行干我震怒之惡事、彼之列王、侯伯、祭司、先知、猶大諸人、耶路撒冷居民皆然、

The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger— their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

主啊，我們和我們的君王、首領、列祖因得罪了你，就都臉上蒙羞。

嗐！犯罪的國民，擔着罪孽的百姓；行惡的種類，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，與他生疏，往後退步。你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏。從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完全的，盡是傷口、青腫，與新打的傷痕，都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用膏滋潤。

賊被捉拿，怎樣羞愧，以色列家和他們的君王、首領、祭司、先知也都照樣羞愧。

你的官長居心悖逆，與盜賊作伴，各都喜愛賄賂，追求贓私。他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的案件也不得呈到他們面前。

從我們列祖直到今日，我們的罪惡甚重；因我們的罪孽，我們和君王、祭司都交在外邦列王的手中，殺害、擄掠、搶奪、臉上蒙羞正如今日的光景。

我說：雅各的首領，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們不當知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉，吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。到了遭災的時候，這些人必哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時他必照他們所行的惡事向他們掩面。論到使我民走差路的先知－他們牙齒有所嚼的，他們就呼喊說：平安了！凡不供給他們吃的，他們就預備攻擊他－耶和華如此說：

這悖逆、污穢、欺壓的城有禍了！她不聽從命令，不領受訓誨，不倚靠耶和華，不親近她的神。她中間的首領是咆哮的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點食物也不留到早晨。她的先知是虛浮詭詐的人；她的祭司褻瀆聖所，強解律法。

其中的先知同謀背叛，如咆哮的獅子抓撕掠物。他們吞滅人民，搶奪財寶，使這地多有寡婦。其中的祭司強解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物，不分別聖的和俗的，也不使人分辨潔淨的和不潔淨的，又遮眼不顧我的安息日；我也在他們中間被褻慢。其中的首領彷彿豺狼抓撕掠物，殺人流血，傷害人命，要得不義之財。其中的先知為百姓用未泡透的灰抹牆，就是為他們見虛假的異象，用謊詐的占卜，說：『主耶和華如此說』，其實耶和華沒有說。國內眾民一味地欺壓，慣行搶奪，虧負困苦窮乏的，背理欺壓寄居的。

因此，耶和華一日之間必從以色列中剪除頭與尾，棕枝與蘆葦－長老和尊貴人就是頭，以謊言教人的先知就是尾。

「看哪，以色列的首領各逞其能，在你中間流人之血。

「我們的神啊，你是至大、至能、至可畏、守約施慈愛的神。我們的君王、首領、祭司、先知、列祖，和你的眾民，從亞述列王的時候直到今日所遭遇的苦難，現在求你不要以為小。在一切臨到我們的事上，你卻是公義的；因你所行的是誠實，我們所做的是邪惡。我們的君王、首領、祭司、列祖都不遵守你的律法，不聽從你的誡命和你警戒他們的話。

沒有聽從你僕人眾先知奉你名向我們君王、首領、列祖，和國中一切百姓所說的話。

雅各家的首領、以色列家的官長啊，當聽我的話！你們厭惡公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；以人血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。首領為賄賂行審判；祭司為雇價施訓誨；先知為銀錢行占卜。他們卻倚賴耶和華，說：耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不臨到我們。所以因你們的緣故，錫安必被耕種像一塊田，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆；這殿的山必像叢林的高處。
