The Babylonians who are attacking this city will come in and set it on fire; they will burn it down, along with the houses where the people aroused my anger by burning incense on the roofs to Baal and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.

The armies of Babylon are now attacking this city. They will come in and set it on fire. They will burn it down. They will burn down the houses where the people made me very angry. They burned incense on their roofs to the god named Baal. And they poured out drink offerings to other gods.

The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city shall come and set this city on fire and burn it, with the houses on whose roofs offerings have been made to Baal and drink offerings have been poured out to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

The Chaldeans, who fight against this city, will come and set this city on fire, and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

必循我口所出之言而為、必焚香灌奠、奉事天后、循我平日所為、循昔我列祖與王公、在猶大諸邑、在耶路撒冷街衢所為、當時我得飽食享福、不遇患難、自我不焚香灌奠、奉事天后、我則缺乏一切、又遇鋒刃饑饉而亡、婦女曰、我焚香灌奠並作餅、以奉事天后、豈非我夫所許乎、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾與爾妻、口曾出言曰、我曾許願焚香灌奠、奉事天后、必償我願、爾曹果循爾口所言、以手成之、執意償爾之願、

子拾薪、父燃火、婦女摶麵作餅、以奉天后、且為他神奠酒、激我震怒、

迦勒底人、以火焚王宮及民室、毀耶路撒冷城垣、

主以色列之天主如是云、猶大王遣爾曹來、求問於我、爾曹當如是告之曰、法老之軍旅、出以助爾、必歸其地伊及、迦勒底人必復至攻擊斯邑、必取之、以火焚燬、主如是云、勿自欺曰、迦勒底人必離我而去、彼必不去、攻爾之迦勒底人、假使爾擊其全軍、其中惟遺受傷之人、亦各於幕中起、以火焚燬斯邑、○

君聞之、則怒、遣兵滅此兇人、而焚其邑、

主震盛怒、傾洩烈忿、火焚郇邑、火焚郇邑或作燃火於郇邑燬其址基、

以火焚主殿與王宮、及耶路撒冷之一切屋宇、並諸大宅、諸大宅或作諸顯者之室

主之聖邑荒涼、郇城荒蕪、耶路撒冷已成邱墟、至聖榮華之殿、即我列祖頌美主之所、被火焚燬、我所羨慕之美地、盡屬荒涼、

主又曰、若有民有國、不願服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、不願項負巴比倫王之軛、我必以鋒刃饑饉疫癘罰其民、直至我藉巴比倫王之手、滅之務盡、爾之先知、占卜者、占夢者、筮人、術士、告爾曰、爾不至服事巴比倫王、則勿聽信、彼告爾誕妄、以為預言、如爾聽信之、必使爾遠離故土、我必驅逐爾、使爾滅亡、
