‘ Oh, Lord GOD, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!

For nothing will be impossible with God.”

“ Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

“ I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

But Jesus looked at them and said,“ With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

“ It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.

And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said:“ O Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.

But he said,“ What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.And God made the two great lights— the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night— and the stars.And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.And God said,“ Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.”So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.And God blessed them, saying,“ Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.And God said,“ Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds— livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.Then God said,“ Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.And God blessed them. And God said to them,“ Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”And God said,“ Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. Thus shall you say to them:“ The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.

And,“ You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment,like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

“ Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel,“ My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”?Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying,‘ My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

“ You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you.

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.”

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever;

“ It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:

Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the Lord of hosts is his name.

Then I said:“ Ah, Lord God, behold, the prophets say to them,‘ You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’”

to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever;the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever;the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things were created through him and for him.

“ Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; I am the first, and I am the last.My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together.

The oracle of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him:

And while they were striking, and I was left alone, I fell upon my face, and cried,“ Ah, Lord God! Will you destroy all the remnant of Israel in the outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.

“‘ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest?Did not my hand make all these things?’

And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said,“ Ah, Lord God! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb:“ I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord God, surely you have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying,‘ It shall be well with you,’ whereas the sword has reached their very life.”

and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord,
