Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,

“ After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord:

“ After I had given the purchase agreement to Baruch, son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD:

“ After giving the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, saying,

“ Now when I had delivered the purchase deed to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, saying:

Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto Jehovah, saying,

“ After I had given the purchase agreement to Baruch, son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord:

“ After I had given the copies of the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD,

Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to Yahweh, saying,

Righteous[ art] thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of[ thy] judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper?[ wherefore] are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me,[ and] the mother with the children.And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities[ are become] fenced,[ and] are inhabited.Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined[ places, and] plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken[ it], and I will do[ it].Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet[ for] this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do[ it] for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who[ am] I, O Lord GOD? and what[ is] my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come. And[ is] this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.For thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know[ them].Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for[ there is] none like thee, neither[ is there any] God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.And what one nation in the earth[ is] like thy people,[ even] like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt,[ from] the nations and their gods?For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel[ to be] a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish[ it] for ever, and do as thou hast said.
