and I gave this deed to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of my cousin Hanamel and of the witnesses who had signed the deed and of all the Jews sitting in the courtyard of the guard.

I gave Baruch the copies of the deed. My cousin Hanamel saw me do this. The witnesses who had signed the deed were there too. So were all the Jews who were sitting in the courtyard of the guard. Baruch was the son of Neriah. Neriah was the son of Mahseiah.

And I gave the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my cousin, in the presence of the witnesses who signed the deed of purchase, and in the presence of all the Judeans who were sitting in the court of the guard.

and I handed them to Baruch son of Neriah and grandson of Mahseiah. I did all this in the presence of my cousin Hanamel, the witnesses who had signed the deed, and all the men of Judah who were there in the courtyard of the guardhouse.

and gave the purchase agreement to Baruch son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah. I did this in the sight of my cousin Hanamel, the witnesses who had signed the purchase agreement, and all the Judeans sitting in the guard’s courtyard.

and I gave the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the sight of Hanamel my uncle’s son and in the sight of the witnesses who signed the deed of purchase, in the sight of all the Jews who were sitting in the courtyard of the guard.

and I gave the purchase deed to Baruch the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses who signed the purchase deed, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the prison.

and I delivered the deed of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel mine uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the deed of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the guard.

and gave the purchase agreement to Baruch son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah. I did this in the sight of my cousin Hanamel, the witnesses who were signing the purchase agreement, and all the Judeans sitting in the guard’s courtyard.

And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle’s[ son], and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.

I took both copies of the deed of purchase and gave them to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah. I gave them to him in the presence of my cousin Hanamel, the witnesses who had signed the deed of purchase, and all the Judeans who were housed in the courtyard of the guardhouse.

and I delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses who signed the deed of the purchase, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the guard.

“我把买卖契约交给尼利亚的儿子巴录以后，就向耶和华祷告，说：

犹大王西底家执政的第四年，玛西雅的孙子、尼利亚的儿子西莱雅和王同去巴比伦的时候，耶利米先知有话吩咐西莱雅，他是掌管住宿事务的官员。

于是耶利米把尼利亚的儿子巴录叫了来，巴录就从耶利米口中，把耶和华向耶利米所说的一切话，都写在书卷上。耶利米吩咐巴录说：“我被阻止，不能进耶和华的殿里去。

更吩咐王子耶拉篾、亚次列的儿子西莱雅和亚伯叠的儿子示利米雅，去捉拿文士巴录和耶利米先知；但耶和华把他们隐藏起来。

他们听见这一切话，就惊惧起来，面面相觑，对巴录说：“我们必须把这一切话禀告王。”他们向巴录说：“请告诉我们，你怎样写下这一切话，是耶利米亲口说的吗？”巴录对他们说：“这一切话是他亲口向我讲述的，我就用墨写在书上。”众领袖对巴录说：“你和耶利米都要去躲藏起来；不要给人知道你们在什么地方。”

于是耶利米取了另一卷书卷，交给尼利亚的儿子文士巴录；巴录就从耶利米的口中，把犹大王约雅敬在火中烧掉的那书上的一切话，都写在书卷上，还加上很多类似的话。

只是尼利亚的儿子巴录怂恿你来反对我们，为要把我们交在迦勒底人的手中，好使我们被杀害，或被掳到巴比伦去。”于是加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领，以及众民，都不听从耶和华要他们留在犹大地的命令。相反地，加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领却率领犹大所有余剩的人，就是那些从被赶逐到各国回来住在犹大地的，包括男人、女人、孩童和王的众公主，以及护卫长尼布撒拉旦留给沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利管理的众人，还有耶利米先知和尼利亚的儿子巴录，

以下是犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，耶利米先知对尼利亚的儿子巴录所说的话（巴录从耶利米口中把这些话写在书卷上）：“巴录啊！耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘你曾说：我有祸了！因为耶和华在我的痛苦上加添忧愁。我因唉哼而困乏，得不着安宁。’”耶和华对耶利米说：“你要这样对他说：‘耶和华这样说：看哪！我所建立的，我必拆毁；我所栽种的，我必拔除。我必这样对待全地。你要为自己图谋大事吗？不要图谋！看哪！我必使灾祸降在全人类身上，但无论你到什么地方去，我必使你捡回自己的性命。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

因为我们努力去作的，不仅是主认为是美的事，也是众人认为是美的事。
