Now this is what the Lord says:“ Sing with joy for Israel. Shout for the greatest of nations! Shout out with praise and joy:‘ Save your people, O Lord, the remnant of Israel!’

因為永恆主這麼說：『要為雅各喜樂歡呼哦！要為列國中為首的發尖銳聲哦！要宣告，要頌讚說：「永恆主已拯救他人民以色列餘剩的人了！」

This is what the Lord says:“ Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard, and say,‘ Lord, save your people, the remnant of Israel.’

The Lord says,“ Sing for joy because the people of Jacob are blessed. Shout because the Lord has made them the greatest nation. Make your praises heard. Say,‘ Lord, save your people. Save the people who are left alive in Israel.’

For thus says the Lord:“ Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say,‘ O Lord, save your people, the remnant of Israel.’

For this is what the LORD says: Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations! Proclaim, praise, and say,“ LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel!”

For this is what the Lord says:“ Sing aloud with joy for Jacob, And be joyful with the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise, and say,‘ Lord, save Your people, The remnant of Israel!’

For thus says the Lord:“ Sing with gladness for Jacob, And shout among the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise, and say,‘ O Lord, save Your people, The remnant of Israel!’

For thus saith Jehovah, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Jehovah, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

For this is what the Lord says: Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the chief of the nations! Proclaim, praise, and say,“ Lord, save Your people, the remnant of Israel!”

For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

Moreover, the LORD says,“ Sing for joy for the descendants of Jacob. Utter glad shouts for that foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard. Then say,‘ LORD, rescue your people. Deliver those of Israel who remain alive.’

For Yahweh says,“ Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations. Publish, praise, and say,‘ Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel!’

And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the siege, will put roots down in your own soil and grow up and flourish.

Save your people! Bless Israel, your special possession. Lead them like a shepherd, and carry them in your arms forever.

Who will come from Mount Zion to rescue Israel? When the Lord restores his people, Jacob will shout with joy, and Israel will rejoice.

But I will gather together the remnant of my flock from the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their own sheepfold, and they will be fruitful and increase in number.

Sing a new song to the Lord! Sing his praises from the ends of the earth! Sing, all you who sail the seas, all you who live in distant coastlands.Join in the chorus, you desert towns; let the villages of Kedar rejoice! Let the people of Sela sing for joy; shout praises from the mountaintops!Let the whole world glorify the Lord; let it sing his praise.

Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

If the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had not spared a few of us, we would have been wiped out like Sodom, destroyed like Gomorrah.

“ Someday, O Israel, I will gather you; I will gather the remnant who are left. I will bring you together again like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture. Yes, your land will again be filled with noisy crowds!

But I will show love to the people of Judah. I will free them from their enemies— not with weapons and armies or horses and charioteers, but by my power as the Lord their God.”

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the Lord has said. These will be among the survivors whom the Lord has called.

Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord, for all of them will hear your words.Yes, they will sing about the Lord’s ways, for the glory of the Lord is very great.

Their descendants will be recognized and honored among the nations. Everyone will realize that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out,“ Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved.

“ Rejoice with him, you heavens, and let all of God’s angels worship him. Rejoice with his people, you Gentiles, and let all the angels be strengthened in him. For he will avenge the blood of his children; he will take revenge against his enemies. He will repay those who hate him and cleanse his people’s land.”

“ But I will let a few of my people escape destruction, and they will be scattered among the nations of the world.

Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.

Now, as surely as I live,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,“ Moab and Ammon will be destroyed— destroyed as completely as Sodom and Gomorrah. Their land will become a place of stinging nettles, salt pits, and eternal desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them and take their land.”

Sing a new song to the Lord, for he has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; his holy arm has shown his saving power!The Lord has announced his victory and has revealed his righteousness to every nation!He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel. The ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!

May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us. Interlude

It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel have remained faithful because of God’s grace— his undeserved kindness in choosing them.

Save us, O Lord our God! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.

Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people.

The remnant of Israel will do no wrong; they will never tell lies or deceive one another. They will eat and sleep in safety, and no one will make them afraid.”Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the King of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster.On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be,“ Cheer up, Zion! Don’t be afraid!For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”“ I will gather you who mourn for the appointed festivals; you will be disgraced no more.And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed.On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.

But all who are left shout and sing for joy. Those in the west praise the Lord’s majesty.In eastern lands, give glory to the Lord. In the lands beyond the sea, praise the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.We hear songs of praise from the ends of the earth, songs that give glory to the Righteous One! But my heart is heavy with grief. Weep for me, for I wither away. Deceit still prevails, and treachery is everywhere.

But perhaps the Lord your God has heard the Assyrian chief of staff, sent by the king to defy the living God, and will punish him for his words. Oh, pray for those of us who are left!”

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth.For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord!

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done this wondrous thing. Shout for joy, O depths of the earth! Break into song, O mountains and forests and every tree! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and is glorified in Israel.

In that wonderful day you will sing:“ Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is!Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”

For God will save Jerusalem and rebuild the towns of Judah. His people will live there and settle in their own land.

In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people— those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands.
