And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.

So shall ye know that I[ am] the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew her there.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

And the altars that[ were] on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake[ them] down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.

[ It was] round about eighteen thousand[ measures]: and the name of the city from[ that] day[ shall be], The LORD[ is] there.

And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God[ that] pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling,[ even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein,[ even] they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David[ shall be] their prince for ever.

Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length[ shall be] the length of five and twenty thousand[ reeds], and the breadth[ shall be] ten thousand. This[ shall be] holy in all the borders thereof round about.Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred[ in length], with five hundred[ in breadth], square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary[ and] the most holy[ place].The holy[ portion] of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.And the five and twenty thousand of length, and the ten thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a possession for twenty chambers.And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, over against the oblation of the holy[ portion]: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which[ is] in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded[ them] not, neither came it into my heart.Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as[ one] breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury[ them] in Tophet, till[ there be] no place to bury.Thus will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and[ even] make this city as Tophet:And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.

[ At what] instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy[ it];

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold,[ there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo,[ they were] very dry.

And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
