耶和華如此說：若能量度上天，尋察下地的根基，我就因以色列後裔一切所行的棄絕他們。這是耶和華說的。

耶和华说：“正如无人能量度高天，探测大地的根基，同样我也决不会因以色列人的所作所为而弃绝他们。这是耶和华说的。”

耶和华这样说：“人若能量度在上的诸天，测透地下面的根基，我也就会因以色列后裔所作的一切，弃绝他们众人。”这是耶和华的宣告。

永恆主這麼說：『上天若能被量度，下地的根基若能被測透，我也就能因以色列後裔所行的一切事來棄絕他們眾人了：永恆主發神諭說。』

如能上度穹蒼、下測地基、則我因以色列裔所為、必遺棄之、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華又曰、如穹蒼可度、大地可測、則我念以色列族所為、必棄之如遺。

主如是云、如能上度天、下測地、則我亦因以色列族所為棄以色列族、此乃主所言、

This is what the Lord says:“ Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done,” declares the Lord.

The Lord says,“ Suppose the sky above could be measured. Suppose the foundations of the earth below could be completely discovered. Only then would I turn away the people of Israel. Even though they have committed many sins, I will still accept them,” announces the Lord.

Thus says the Lord:“ If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done, declares the Lord.”

This is what the Lord says:“ Just as the heavens cannot be measured and the foundations of the earth cannot be explored, so I will not consider casting them away for the evil they have done. I, the Lord, have spoken!

“ This is what the LORD says: Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below explored, will I reject all of Israel’s descendants because of all they have done— this is the LORD’s declaration.

This is what the Lord says:“ If the heavens above can be measured And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also reject all the descendants of Israel For everything that they have done,” declares the Lord.

Thus says the Lord:“ If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the Lord.

Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah.

This is what the Lord says: If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below explored, I will reject all of Israel’s descendants because of all they have done— this is the Lord’s declaration.

Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

The LORD says,“ I will not reject all the descendants of Israel because of all that they have done. That could only happen if the heavens above could be measured or the foundations of the earth below could all be explored,” says the LORD.

Yahweh says:“ If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done,” says Yahweh.

「你沒有揣摩這百姓的話嗎？他們說：『耶和華所揀選的二族，他已經棄絕了。』他們這樣藐視我的百姓，以為不再成國。耶和華如此說：若是我立白日黑夜的約不能存住，若是我未曾安排天地的定例，我就棄絕雅各的後裔和我僕人大衛的後裔，不使大衛的後裔治理亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的後裔；因為我必使他們被擄的人歸回，也必憐憫他們。」

天上的萬象不能數算，海邊的塵沙也不能斗量；我必照樣使我僕人大衛的後裔和事奉我的利未人多起來。」

誰曾用手心量諸水，用手虎口量蒼天，用升斗盛大地的塵土，用秤稱山嶺，用天平平岡陵呢？

我且說，神棄絕了他的百姓嗎？斷乎沒有！因為我也是以色列人，亞伯拉罕的後裔，屬便雅憫支派的。神並沒有棄絕他預先所知道的百姓。你們豈不曉得經上論到以利亞是怎麼說的呢？他在神面前怎樣控告以色列人說：「主啊，他們殺了你的先知，拆了你的祭壇，只剩下我一個人；他們還要尋索我的命。」神的回話是怎麼說的呢？他說：「我為自己留下七千人，是未曾向巴力屈膝的。」如今也是這樣，照着揀選的恩典，還有所留的餘數。

於是以色列全家都要得救。如經上所記：必有一位救主從錫安出來，要消除雅各家的一切罪惡；又說：我除去他們罪的時候，這就是我與他們所立的約。就着福音說，他們為你們的緣故是仇敵；就着揀選說，他們為列祖的緣故是蒙愛的。因為神的恩賜和選召是沒有後悔的。

你考察就能測透神嗎？你豈能盡情測透全能者嗎？他的智慧高於天，你還能做甚麼？深於陰間，你還能知道甚麼？其量比地長，比海寬。

我的僕人雅各啊，不要懼怕！因我與你同在。我要將我所趕你到的那些國滅絕淨盡，卻不將你滅絕淨盡，倒要從寬懲治你，萬不能不罰你。這是耶和華說的。

因我與你同在，要拯救你，也要將所趕散你到的那些國滅絕淨盡，卻不將你滅絕淨盡，倒要從寬懲治你，萬不能不罰你。這是耶和華說的。

因我曾說：你的慈悲必建立到永遠；你的信實必堅立在天上。

誰升天又降下來？誰聚風在掌握中？誰包水在衣服裏？誰立定地的四極？他名叫甚麼？他兒子名叫甚麼？你知道嗎？
