使陽光白天照耀、星月晚上發光、大海波濤洶湧的萬軍之耶和華說：

那使太阳白日发光，使星月有定例，黑夜发亮，又搅动大海，使海中波浪砰訇的，万军之耶和华是他的名。他如此说：

耶和華錫日為白晝之光、定月與星為黑夜之光、翻騰滄海、使其波濤漰渤、萬軍之耶和華、乃其名也、

耶和華晝使日華照爍、夜使星月交輝、永定其例、海水澎湃、叱之使靜、厥名萬有之主耶和華。

主使日發光於晝、定月與星發光於夜、使海水洶湧、波浪翻騰、名為萬有之主、主如是云、

This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name:

The Lord speaks. He makes the sun shine by day. He orders the moon and stars to shine at night. He stirs up the ocean. He makes its waves roar. His name is the Lord Who Rules Over All.

Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord of hosts is his name:

It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and this is what he says:

“ This is what the LORD says: The one who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name:

This is what the Lord says, He who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— The Lord of armies is His name:

Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar( The Lord of hosts is His name):

Thus saith Jehovah, who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar; Jehovah of hosts is his name:

This is what the Lord says: The One who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— Yahweh of Hosts is His name:

Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day,[ and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts[ is] his name:

The LORD has made a promise to Israel. He promises it as the one who fixed the sun to give light by day and the moon and stars to give light by night. He promises it as the one who stirs up the sea so that its waves roll. He promises it as the one who is known as the LORD who rules over all.

Yahweh, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar; Yahweh of Armies is his name, says:

但雅各的上帝截然不同，祂是萬物的創造者，被稱為「萬軍之耶和華」，以色列是祂的子民。

我是你的上帝耶和華，我翻動大海、捲起波濤，萬軍之耶和華是我的名。

要稱謝那位創造日月星辰的，因為祂的慈愛永遠長存。祂讓太陽管理白晝，因為祂的慈愛永遠長存。祂讓月亮星辰管理黑夜，因為祂的慈愛永遠長存。

上帝說：「天空要有光體，以區分晝夜，作記號，定節令，計算年日，發光普照大地。」果然如此。上帝造了兩個大光體，較大的管白晝，較小的管黑夜，又造了星辰。上帝把這些光體擺列在天空，讓它們發光普照大地，管理晝夜，分開明暗。上帝看了，感到滿意。

你恩待千萬人，也向後世的子孫追討他們祖先所犯的罪。偉大全能的上帝啊！你名叫萬軍之耶和華。

但他們的救贖主——萬軍之耶和華有偉大的能力，祂必為他們伸冤，使他們的家園安寧，使巴比倫的居民不得安寧。」

門徒連忙叫醒耶穌，說：「主啊，救命！我們快淹死了！」耶穌答道：「你們信心太小了，為什麼害怕呢？」於是祂起來斥責風和浪，風浪就完全平靜了。

當你們舉目觀看你們的上帝耶和華賜給天下萬民的日、月、星辰等天上萬象時，不要受誘惑去跪拜、供奉它們。

諸天述說上帝的榮耀，穹蒼傳揚祂的作為。它們日復一日地訴說，夜復一夜地宣揚，無言無語，無聲無息。它們的聲音傳遍天下，它們的話語傳到地極。上帝在天上為太陽設立居所。太陽出來時，如步出洞房的新郎，又如歡然奔跑賽程的健兒。它滑過長空，從天這邊繞到天那邊，熱量廣及萬物。

祂一聲令下，狂風大作，巨浪滔天。他們的船隻忽而被拋向半空，忽而落入深淵，他們嚇得面無人色，東倒西歪，如同醉漢，束手無策。於是，他們在患難中呼求耶和華，耶和華便拯救他們脫離困境。祂使狂風止息，海浪平靜。

你曾用大能分開海水，打碎水中巨獸的頭。

你們還自稱為聖城的人，聲稱倚靠名為萬軍之耶和華的以色列的上帝。

白晝和黑夜都屬於你，你設立了日月。

這樣，你們才是天父的孩子。因為祂讓陽光照好人也照壞人，降雨給義人也給惡人。

摩西向海伸出手，耶和華便整夜用強勁的東風吹退海水，將海底變成乾地。海水分開後，以色列人踏著乾地走入海中，海水如兩道牆立在他們左右。

是我為它劃定界限，並安上門和閂，說，『你到此為止，不可越界；你狂傲的波濤要停在這裡。』

他的後裔必永無窮盡，他的王位必在我面前如日長存，又如天上亙古不變的月亮，永遠堅立。」（細拉）

耶和華啊，大海澎湃怒吼，波浪滔天。高天之上的耶和華充滿力量，超過咆哮的洪水和怒吼的大海。

願他的名流芳百世，如日長存。願萬國都因他而蒙福，都稱頌他。

名叫萬軍之耶和華的王說：「我憑我的永恆起誓，將有一位要來，他的氣勢如群山中的他泊山，又像海邊的迦密山。

祂把海水分開，帶領他們安然渡過；祂使海水堆起如牆壁。

用榮耀的臂膀扶持摩西，在他們面前把海水分開，使自己威名永存的那位在哪裡？

雅各的上帝卻迥然不同，因為祂創造萬物，以色列人是祂的產業，祂名叫「萬軍之耶和華」。

我要讓人知道：你的慈愛存到永遠，你的信實與天同存。

祂的能力使大海平靜，祂運用智慧擊碎海怪。

耶和華啊，你的話與天同存，亙古不變。

大海看見他們就奔逃，約旦河也倒流。大山如公羊一般跳躍，小山像羊羔一樣蹦跳。大海啊，你為何奔逃？約旦河啊，你為何倒流？

你知道天的定律嗎？你能使地服從天律嗎？

因為造你的是你的丈夫，祂名叫萬軍之耶和華；救贖你的是以色列的聖者，祂是普天下的上帝。

只要日月尚存，願百姓永遠敬畏你。

祂斥責紅海，海就乾了，祂帶領他們走過深淵，如履乾地。

難道你們不敬畏我嗎？這是耶和華說的。難道你們在我面前不顫抖嗎？我以沙石為海的界限，使水永遠不能越過它。洶湧的波濤不能逾越，澎湃的海浪不能漫過。
