耶和華曰、斯日以後、我與以色列家所立之約、乃以我律賦其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民、

我必與以色列族、共立新約、我將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民。

主曰、是日後、我與以色列族所將立之約即此、我將以我律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我為彼之天主、彼為我之民、

“ This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord.“ I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

顯明你們自己是基督的書信，是藉著我們寫成的，不是用墨，而是用永活神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，而是寫在心版上。

“主說：‘在那些日子以後，我要與他們所立的約是這樣：我要把我的律法放在他們的心思裡面，寫在他們的心上。’”

“我要把一顆心賜給他們，把新的靈放在他們裡面；我要從他們肉體中除掉石心，賜給他們肉心，使他們遵從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章，這樣，他們就必作我的子民，我必作他們的神。

主說：‘因為在那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約是這樣：我要把我的律法放在他們的心思裡面，寫在他們的心上。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

我必賜給他們一顆認識我的心，知道我就是耶和華；他們要作我的子民，我要親自作他們的神，因為他們必一心歸向我。’”

我要和他們立永遠的約，我必不離開他們，必使他們得到福樂；我也必把敬畏我的心賜給他們，使他們不會離開我。

我的神啊！我樂意遵行你的旨意；你的律法常在我的心裡。”

我必用潔淨的水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了；我必潔淨你們的一切污穢，使你們遠離所有可憎的像。“‘我必把新心賜給你們，把新靈放在你們裡面；我必從你們的肉體中除去石心，把肉心賜給你們。我必把我的靈放在你們裡面，使你們遵行我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

我的居所必在他們當中；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

耶和華你的神必把你心裡和你後裔心裡的污穢除掉，要你一心一意愛耶和華你的神，使你可以存活。

他們必作我的子民，我也必作他們的神。

我聽見有大聲音從寶座那裡發出來，說：“看哪！神的帳幕在人間，他要與人同住，他們要作他的子民。神要親自與他們同在，要作他們的神。

我必使這三分之一經火試煉。我要煉淨他們，像煉淨銀子一樣；我要試煉他們，像試煉金子一樣。他們必呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我要說：‘他們是我的子民。’他們也要說：‘耶和華是我們的神。’”

我要與你，和你世世代代的後裔，堅立我的約，成為永遠的約，使我作你和你的後裔的神。我要把你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔，作永遠的產業，我也要作他們的神。”

神的律法在他心裡，他的腳步必不滑跌。

按著我裡面的人來說，我是喜歡神的律，

‘你們要作我的子民，我要作你們的神。’”

因為生命之靈的律在基督耶穌裡使我自由，脫離了罪和死的律。律法是因肉體而軟弱無力，所作不到的，神作到了：他差遣自己的兒子成為罪身的樣式，為了除掉罪，就在肉體中把罪判決了，使律法所要求的義，可以在我們這些不隨從肉體而隨從聖靈去行的人身上實現出來。隨從肉體的人，以肉體的事為念；隨從聖靈的人，以聖靈的事為念。以肉體為念就是死，以聖靈為念就是生命、平安；因為以肉體為念就是與神為仇，既不服從神的律法，也的確不能夠服從；屬肉體的人不能得神的喜悅。

如果那以文字刻在石上使人死的律法的工作，尚且帶有榮光，以致以色列人因著摩西臉上短暫的榮光，不能注視他的臉，那出於聖靈的工作不是更有榮光嗎？

認識公義，把我的訓誨存在心裡的人民哪！你們要聽我的話。你們不要怕人的辱罵，也不要因人的毀謗而驚惶。

得勝的，必要承受這些福分。我要作他的神，他要作我的兒子。

“到那時，我必作以色列各家族的神，他們要作我的子民。”這是耶和華的宣告。

但聖靈的果子是仁愛、喜樂、平安、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節制；這樣的事，是沒有律法禁止的。

耶穌說：“你不要拉住我，因為我還沒有上去見父。你要到我的弟兄們那裡去，告訴他們我要上去見我的父，也是你們的父；見我的神，也是你們的神。”
