耶和华说：“以法莲是我的爱子吗？是可喜悦的孩子吗？我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他；所以我的心肠恋慕他；我必要怜悯他。

永恆主發神諭說：以法蓮是我的寶貝兒子麼？是個可喜悅的孩子麼？因為我每逢說了話譴責他，我總還是依依懷念着他。我的心腸熱戀着他；我一定要憐憫他。

以法蓮為我之愛子乎、為可悅之子乎、我每言及、則深念之、心為之動、我必矜恤之、耶和華言之矣、○

耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。

以法蓮豈非我之愛子、我所悅之赤子乎、我一言之、即顧念之、我心腸為之發矜恤、復加憐憫、此乃主所言、○

Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord.

Aren’t the people of Ephraim my dear children? Aren’t they the children I take delight in? I often speak against them. But I still remember them. So my heart longs for them. I love them with a tender love,” announces the Lord.

Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he my darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I do remember him still. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, declares the Lord.

“ Is not Israel still my son, my darling child?” says the Lord.“ I often have to punish him, but I still love him. That’s why I long for him and surely will have mercy on him.

Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will certainly have mercy on him,” declares the Lord.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearneth for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah.

Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the LORD, affirm it!

惡人當離棄自己的道路，不義的人應除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他；當歸向我們的上帝，因為他必廣行赦免。

求你從天上，從你神聖榮耀的居所垂顧觀看。你的熱心和你大能的作為在哪裏呢？你內心的關懷和你的憐憫向我們停止了。

我必醫治他們背道的病，甘心愛他們，因為我向他們所發的怒氣已轉消。

因此，我的心腸為摩押哀鳴如琴，我的內心為吉珥‧哈列設哀哭。

我的良人從門縫裏伸進他的手，我便因他動了心。

因為我這個兒子是死而復活，失而復得的。』他們就開始慶祝。

以色列人就除掉他們中間的外邦神明，事奉耶和華。耶和華因以色列所受的苦難而心裏焦急。

主必不永遠撇棄，他雖使人憂愁，還要照他豐盛的慈愛施憐憫；

我以基督耶穌的心腸切切想念你們眾人，這是上帝可以為我作證的。

他們要哭泣而來。我要照他們懇求的引導他們，使他們在河水旁行走正直的路，他們在其上必不致絆跌；因為我是以色列的父，以法蓮是我的長子。

耶和華見他的百姓毫無能力，無論是為奴的、自由的，都沒有存留，就必為他們伸冤，為自己的僕人發憐憫。

「我說，我多麼樂意把你列在兒女之中，賜給你美地，就是萬國中最美的產業。我說，你會以『我父啊』稱呼我，不再轉離而

有哪一個神明像你，赦免罪孽，饒恕他產業中餘民的罪過？他不永遠懷怒，喜愛施恩。他必轉回憐憫我們，把我們的罪孽踏在腳下。你必將他們一切的罪投於深海。

父親怎樣憐憫他的兒女，耶和華也怎樣憐憫敬畏他的人！

約瑟愛弟之情激動，就急忙找個地方去哭。他進入自己的房間，哭了一場。

以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你如押瑪？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心轉意，我的憐憫燃了起來。我必不發猛烈的怒氣，也不再毀滅以法蓮。因我是上帝，並非世人，是你們中間的聖者；我必不在怒中臨到你們。

活孩子的母親為自己的兒子心急如焚，對王說：「求我主把活孩子給那婦人吧，萬不可殺死他！」那婦人說：「這孩子也不歸我，也不歸你，你們就劈了吧！」

因為耶和華所愛的，他必責備，正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。

因此，我的心為摩押哀鳴如簫，我的心為吉珥‧哈列設人哀哭；摩押人所得的財物都毀滅了。

我必不長久控訴，也不永遠懷怒，因為我雖使靈性發昏，我也造了人的氣息。我因人貪婪的罪孽，發怒擊打他；我轉臉向他發怒，他卻仍隨意背道而行。我看見他的行為，要醫治他，引導他，使他和與他一同哀傷的人都得安慰。

可是你這個弟弟是死而復活，失而復得的，所以我們理當歡喜慶祝。』」
