I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself[ thus]; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed[ to the yoke]: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou[ art] the LORD my God.

我听见以法莲为自己悲叹说：“你责罚我，我便受责罚，像不惯负轭的牛犊一样。求你使我回转，我便回转，因为你是耶和华我的神。

我听见以法莲为自己悲叹说：‘你管教我，我便受管教，我如未驯服的牛犊。求你使我回转，我便回转，因为你是耶和华—我的上帝。

我听见以法莲为自己悲叹说：‘你管教我，我便受管教，我如未驯服的牛犊。求你使我回转，我便回转，因为你是耶和华—我的神。

我听见以法莲在为自己悲叹，‘我们就像未经驯服的牛犊，你管教我们，使我们顺服，求你使我们回到你身边，重新复兴，因为你是我们的上帝耶和华。

“我清楚听见以法莲为自己哀叹，说：‘你管教了我，我像一头不驯服的牛犊受管教；求你使我回转，我就得以回转，因为你是耶和华我的神。

我聽見以法蓮為自己悲歎說：你責罰我，我便受責罰，像不慣負軛的牛犢一樣。求你使我回轉，我便回轉，因為你是耶和華－我的神。

我聽見以法蓮為自己悲嘆說：『你管教我，我便受管教，我如未馴服的牛犢。求你使我回轉，我便回轉，因為你是耶和華－我的上帝。

我聽見以法蓮為自己悲嘆說：『你管教我，我便受管教，我如未馴服的牛犢。求你使我回轉，我便回轉，因為你是耶和華－我的神。

我聽見以法蓮在為自己悲歎，『我們就像未經馴服的牛犢，你管教我們，使我們順服，求你使我們回到你身邊，重新復興，因為你是我們的上帝耶和華。

“我清楚聽見以法蓮為自己哀歎，說：‘你管教了我，我像一頭不馴服的牛犢受管教；求你使我回轉，我就得以回轉，因為你是耶和華我的神。

我真地聽見以法蓮在為自己悲歎着說：「你督責了我，我便受督責，像訓練未馴的牛犢一樣；使我返回哦，我便得以返回，因為你是永恆主我的上帝。

我聞以法蓮為己悲歎曰、爾責我、而我受責、我若未習負軛之犢、求爾轉我、我則轉焉、蓋爾乃我之上帝耶和華也、

我聞以法蓮哭曰、昔予如放逸之犢、爾督責予、而我受責、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、俾我悛改。

我聞以法蓮哀哭曰、昔我如不習於負軛不習於負軛或作放逸之犢、主督責我、我受督責、求主俾我悛改、我則悛改、蓋主為我之天主、

“ I have surely heard Ephraim’s moaning:‘ You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the Lord my God.

“ I have heard the groans of Ephraim’s people. They say,‘ You corrected us like a calf you were training. And we have been trained. Bring us back to you, and we will come back. You are the Lord our God.

I have heard Ephraim grieving,‘ You have disciplined me, and I was disciplined, like an untrained calf; bring me back that I may be restored, for you are the Lord my God.

I have heard Israel saying,‘ You disciplined me severely, like a calf that needs training for the yoke. Turn me again to you and restore me, for you alone are the Lord my God.

I have surely heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Take me back, so that I can return, for you, LORD, are my God.

I have certainly heard Ephraim grieving,‘ You have disciplined me, and I was corrected, Like an untrained calf; Bring me back that I may be restored, For You are the Lord my God.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I will return, For You are the Lord my God.

I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus, Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a calf unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art Jehovah my God.

I have heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Restore me, and I will return, for you, Lord, are my God.

I have indeed heard the people of Israel say mournfully,‘ We were like a calf untrained to the yoke. You disciplined us and we learned from it. Let us come back to you and we will do so, for you are the LORD our God.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus,‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned; for you are Yahweh my God.

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping[ and] supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way,[ and] they have forgotten the LORD their God.Return, ye backsliding children,[ and] I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou[ art] the LORD our God.

Behold, happy[ is] the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim[ is] my firstborn.

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou[ art] my praise.

Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Blessed[ is] the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

He looketh upon men, and[ if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted[ that which was] right, and it profited me not;He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

O LORD,[ are] not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them,[ but] they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

Therefore[ will] I[ be] unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah[ saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.

For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.

Do not err, my beloved brethren.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst[ it].

Be ye not as the horse,[ or] as the mule,[ which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

For there shall be a day,[ that] the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

[ It is] good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne[ it] upon him.He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.He giveth[ his] cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

Doubtless thou[ art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD,[ art] our father, our redeemer; thy name[ is] from everlasting.

In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward,[ saying], Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant[ that] shall not be forgotten.

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments[ are] right, and[ that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

And Ephraim[ is as] an heifer[ that is] taught,[ and] loveth to tread out[ the corn]; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow,[ and] Jacob shall break his clods.

For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive[ as] the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof[ shall be] as the wine of Lebanon.Ephraim[ shall say], What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard[ him], and observed him: I[ am] like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls[ which] I have made.For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back.

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

I will go[ and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of[ his] good pleasure.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth[ his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

How shall I give thee up, Ephraim?[ how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah?[ how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I[ am] God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
