“ Listen to this message from the Lord, you nations of the world; proclaim it in distant coastlands: The Lord, who scattered his people, will gather them and watch over them as a shepherd does his flock.

列国啊，要听耶和华的话，传扬在远处的海岛说：“赶散以色列的必招聚他，又看守他，好像牧人看守羊群。

列国啊，要听耶和华的话，要在远方的海岛传扬，说：“赶散以色列的必召集他，看守他，如牧人看守羊群。”

列国啊，要听耶和华的话，要在远方的海岛传扬，说：“赶散以色列的必召集他，看守他，如牧人看守羊群。”

“列国啊，你们要听耶和华的话，要在远方的海岛宣扬，‘祂从前驱散以色列人，如今必再聚集、保护他们，好像牧人看守自己的羊群一样。’

“列国啊！你们要听耶和华的话，要在远方的海岛传扬，说：‘那赶散以色列的神，必再招集他们；必看守他们，像牧人看守自己的羊群一样。’

列國啊，要聽耶和華的話，傳揚在遠處的海島說：趕散以色列的必招聚他，又看守他，好像牧人看守羊羣。

「列國啊，你們要聽耶和華的話，要在遠方的海島宣揚，『祂從前驅散以色列人，如今必再聚集、保護他們，好像牧人看守自己的羊群一樣。』

“列國啊！你們要聽耶和華的話，要在遠方的海島傳揚，說：‘那趕散以色列的神，必再招集他們；必看守他們，像牧人看守自己的羊群一樣。’

『列國啊，要聽永恆主的話，要傳告在遠處的沿海地帶，說：那使以色列四散的必再招集他，看守他，像牧人看守羊羣一般，

維爾列邦、其聽耶和華言、宣揚於遠島曰、散以色列者、必集而守之、如牧人於其羣羊焉、

耶和華之言、異邦人宜聽之、復播揚於遠島之民、云、昔散以色列族者、今必聚而守之、如牧者守群畜焉、

列國須聽主言、當播揚於遠島云、昔散以色列族者、今必集之、必守之如牧者之守其群羊、

“ Hear the word of the Lord, you nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands:‘ He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’

“ Listen to my message, you nations. Announce it on shores far away. Say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather them. He will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’

“ Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away; say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.’

Nations, hear the word of the LORD, and tell it among the far off coasts and islands! Say,“ The one who scattered Israel will gather him. He will watch over him as a shepherd guards his flock,

Hear the word of the Lord, you nations, And declare it in the coastlands far away, And say,“ He who scattered Israel will gather him, And He will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.”

“ Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’

Hear the word of Jehovah, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off; and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

Nations, hear the word of the Lord, and tell it among the far off coastlands! Say: The One who scattered Israel will gather him. He will watch over him as a shepherd guards his flock,

Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare[ it] in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd[ doth] his flock.

Hear what the LORD has to say, O nations. Proclaim it in the faraway lands along the sea. Say,“ The one who scattered Israel will regather them. He will watch over his people like a shepherd watches over his flock.”

“ Hear Yahweh’s word, you nations, and declare it in the distant islands. Say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

I will perform a sign among them. And I will send those who survive to be messengers to the nations— to Tarshish, to the Libyans and Lydians( who are famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to all the lands beyond the sea that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. There they will declare my glory to the nations.

I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.

Even though you are banished to the ends of the earth, the Lord your God will gather you from there and bring you back again.

“ Listen in silence before me, you lands beyond the sea. Bring your strongest arguments. Come now and speak. The court is ready for your case.

He will not falter or lose heart until justice prevails throughout the earth. Even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction.”

“ So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

And he will stand to lead his flock with the Lord’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world.

And I will bring Israel home again to its own land, to feed in the fields of Carmel and Bashan, and to be satisfied once more in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead.

The Lord will terrify them as he destroys all the gods in the land. Then nations around the world will worship the Lord, each in their own land.

“ So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock— his church, purchased with his own blood— over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock.

“ For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back.

“ The Israelites are like sheep that have been scattered by lions. First the king of Assyria ate them up. Then King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon cracked their bones.”

And in anger I will reach out with my strong hand and powerful arm, and I will bring you back from the lands where you are scattered.

“ My servant David will be their king, and they will have only one shepherd. They will obey my regulations and be careful to keep my decrees.

Yet the time will come when the Lord will gather them together like handpicked grain. One by one he will gather them— from the Euphrates River in the east to the Brook of Egypt in the west.

Place a third of it at the center of your map of Jerusalem. After acting out the siege, burn it there. Scatter another third across your map and chop it with a sword. Scatter the last third to the wind, for I will scatter my people with the sword.

“ Someday, O Israel, I will gather you; I will gather the remnant who are left. I will bring you together again like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture. Yes, your land will again be filled with noisy crowds!

On that day the Lord their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.

Sing a new song to the Lord! Sing his praises from the ends of the earth! Sing, all you who sail the seas, all you who live in distant coastlands.

“ In that coming day,” says the Lord,“ I will gather together those who are lame, those who have been exiles, and those whom I have filled with grief.

And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world.

The western kings of Tarshish and other distant lands will bring him tribute. The eastern kings of Sheba and Seba will bring him gifts.

Their descendants became the seafaring peoples that spread out to various lands, each identified by its own language, clan, and national identity.

“ Therefore, tell the exiles,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I have scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during your time in exile.

and the kings of Tyre and Sidon, and the kings of the regions across the sea.

And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed.

Parents will eat their own children, and children will eat their parents. I will punish you and scatter to the winds the few who survive.

But all who are left shout and sing for joy. Those in the west praise the Lord’s majesty.

They are ships from the ends of the earth, from lands that trust in me, led by the great ships of Tarshish. They are bringing the people of Israel home from far away, carrying their silver and gold. They will honor the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has filled you with splendor.

I would have annihilated them, wiping out even the memory of them.
