你們去問問，男人能分娩嗎？為什麼我看見男人們都雙手捂著肚子，好像分娩的婦人臉色鐵青呢？

你們去問問，去看看，有男人能生產的沒有？為甚麼我總看見人人都用手掐腰，像要生產的婦人，臉面都變青了呢？

爾試訪察、男產子乎、我見人各以手支腰、若臨產之婦、面呈灰色、此何故耶、

男子產育、未之有也、今見男子手捧腹、色乍青、若將產之婦、誠何故與。

爾曹且訪問觀察、有男曾產子乎、今見人各以手支腰、面變青色、若將產之婦、此何故歟、

Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale?

Ask and see. Can a man give birth to children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach? Each of them is acting like a woman having a baby. Every face is as pale as death.

Ask now, and see, can a man bear a child? Why then do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor? Why has every face turned pale?

Now let me ask you a question: Do men give birth to babies? Then why do they stand there, ashen faced, hands pressed against their sides like a woman in labor?

Ask and see whether a male can give birth. Why then do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor and every face turned pale?

Ask now, and see If a male can give birth. Why do I see every man With his hands on his waist, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale?

Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?

Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child: wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

Ask yourselves this and consider it carefully: Have you ever seen a man give birth to a baby? Why then do I see all these strong men grabbing their stomachs in pain like a woman giving birth? And why do their faces turn so deathly pale?

Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?

荒蕪，荒涼，全然荒廢，人心害怕，雙膝顫抖，腰部疼痛，臉都變色。

在牠們面前，萬民傷慟，臉都變色。

我聽見有彷彿婦人臨產的聲音，好像是生頭胎疼痛的聲音，原來是錫安的聲音；她喘着氣，伸開手：「我有禍了！在殺人者跟前，我的心靈發昏。」

產婦的疼痛必臨到他身上；他是無智慧之子，如同臨盆時未出現的胎兒。

我們聽見這樣的風聲，手就發軟；痛苦將我們抓住，疼痛彷彿臨產的婦人。

戰兢在那裏抓住他們，他們好像臨產的婦人一樣陣痛。

為此，我腰部滿是疼痛，痛苦將我抓住，好像臨產的婦人一樣的痛。我疼痛甚至不能聽，我驚惶甚至不能看。

你這住黎巴嫩、在香柏樹上搭窩的，有痛苦臨到你，如疼痛臨到臨產的婦人，那時你何等可憐！

人正說平安穩定的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同陣痛臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕逃脫不了。

婦人生產的時候會憂愁，因為她的時候到了；但孩子一生出來，就不再記得那痛苦了，因為歡喜有一個人生在世上了。你們現在也是憂愁，但我要再見到你們，你們的心就會有喜樂了；這喜樂沒有人能奪去。

你們要哀號，因為耶和華的日子臨近了！這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。因此，人的手都變軟弱，人的心都必惶惶。他們必驚恐，悲痛和愁苦將他們抓住。他們陣痛，好像臨產的婦人一樣，彼此驚奇對看，臉如火焰。看哪！耶和華的日子臨到，必有殘忍、憤恨、烈怒，使這地荒蕪，除滅其中的罪人。

所以，救贖亞伯拉罕的耶和華論到雅各家時如此說：「雅各必不再羞愧，面容也不再變色。

巴比倫王聽見他們的風聲，手就發軟，痛苦將他抓住，彷彿臨產的婦人疼痛一般。

現在，你為何大聲呼喊呢？你中間沒有君王，你的謀士滅絕，以致疼痛抓住你，如臨產的婦人嗎？錫安哪，你要疼痛生產，彷彿臨產的婦人；因為你必從城裏出來，住在田野；你要到巴比倫去，在那裏，你要蒙解救，在那裏，耶和華必救贖你脫離仇敵的手掌。

就變了臉色，心意驚惶，腰骨好像脫節，雙膝彼此相碰，

大馬士革發軟，轉身逃跑；戰兢將它捉住，痛苦憂愁將它抓住，如臨產的婦人一樣。

耶和華立你自己所教導的盟友，立他們為頭來轄制你，你還有甚麼話可說呢？痛苦豈不將你抓住像臨產的婦人嗎？
