然而主站在我身旁加给我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地传给外族人。主把我从狮子口里救了出来。主必救我脱离一切凶险，带我进入祂的天国。愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

耶和华说：“即使在那时，我也不会彻底毁灭你们。

耶和华啊，求你不要在怒中责备我，不要在烈怒中惩罚我。

你们要去毁坏她的葡萄园，但不可彻底毁坏。要砍掉枝子，因为那些枝子不属于耶和华。

教导他们遵守我吩咐你们的一切。记住，我必常与你们同在，一直到世界的末了。”

我正在说预言的时候，比拿雅的儿子毗拉提就死了。我便俯伏在地大喊：“唉，主耶和华啊，你要灭绝以色列的余民吗？”

现在的情况也是一样，上帝按照拣选的恩典留下了少数人。既然说是出于恩典，就不再基于行为，不然恩典就不再是恩典了。这该怎么说呢？以色列人努力追求，却一无所得，只有蒙拣选的人得到了，其他的人都变得顽固不化。

“我的仆人雅各啊，不要害怕！以色列人啊，不要惊慌！因为我要从远方把你们救回来，使你们从流亡之地归回。你们必重返家园，安享太平，无人搅扰。我的仆人雅各啊，不要害怕，因为我与你同在。我曾使你流亡到列国，我必彻底毁灭列国，但不会彻底毁灭你，也不会饶过你，我必公正地惩治你。这是耶和华说的。”

耶和华不像击打以色列的敌人那样击打以色列人。祂不像击杀以色列的敌人那样击杀以色列人。祂与以色列人为敌，使他们被掳，驱逐他们离开本地，用从东方刮来的暴风吹散他们。
