我曰、彼行此事、後必歸我、惟彼不歸、其詭譎之妹猶大見之矣、

彼行此後、我命之曰、爾當歸誠於我、惟彼不從、悖逆之猶大與以色列有若姊妹、此事猶大亦見之、

I thought that after she had done all this she would return to me but she did not, and her unfaithful sister Judah saw it.

I thought that after they had done all this, they would return to me. But they did not. Their sister nation Judah saw them doing this. And they were not faithful to me either.

And I thought,‘ After she has done all this she will return to me,’ but she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

Yet even after she had done all that, I thought that she might come back to me. But she did not. Her sister, unfaithful Judah, saw what she did.

耶和華藉諸先知先見、戒以色列與猶大人曰、當轉離爾之惡途、守我誡命典章、循我所命爾列祖、及藉我僕眾先知授爾之法、惟彼弗聽、強項不馴、如其不信厥上帝耶和華之列祖、

其來、我儕歸耶和華、彼既裂我、亦必醫我、彼既擊我、亦必裹我、越二日、將蘇我、至三日、將起我、生於其前、我儕當識耶和華、黽勉而識之、其見也、若晨光之準、其臨也、若甘雨、若潤土之春雨、○以法蓮歟、我將何以待爾、猶大歟、我將何以待爾、蓋爾之仁義、有若朝雲、又如速消之露、

以色列歟、爾因罪而顚覆、當歸爾之上帝耶和華、

悖逆之以色列、因其宣淫、為我所出、與以離書、其詭譎之妹猶大、仍不畏懼、往而行淫、我見之矣、彼輕其淫亂、污衊斯土、狥欲於木石、其詭譎之妹猶大、仍不專誠歸我、惟偽為耳、耶和華言之矣、○耶和華諭我曰、悖逆之以色列、較詭譎之猶大、尚顯其義、

人子歟、昔有二女、一母所生、當其少年、在埃及行淫、為男擁抱、摩撫厥乳、姊名阿荷拉、妹名阿荷利巴、俱歸於我、而生子女、阿荷拉即撒瑪利亞、阿荷利巴即耶路撒冷也、
