當約西亞王時、耶和華諭我曰、悖逆之以色列、其所為者、汝見之乎、彼陟諸高岡、詣諸綠樹、行淫於彼、

當約西亞王年間、耶和華告耶利米曰、以色列族有若淫婦、爾豈不見乎、彼背我、陟高巒、入茂林、狥欲而行。

During the reign of King Josiah, the Lord said to me,“ Have you seen what faithless Israel has done? She has gone up on every high hill and under every spreading tree and has committed adultery there.

During the time Josiah was king, the Lord spoke to me. He said,“ Have you seen what the people of Israel have done? They have not been faithful to me. They have committed adultery with other gods. They worshiped them on every high hill and under every green tree.

The Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah:“ Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the whore?

During the reign of King Josiah, the Lord said to me,“ Have you seen what fickle Israel has done? Like a wife who commits adultery, Israel has worshiped other gods on every hill and under every green tree.

In the days of King Josiah the LORD asked me,“ Have you seen what unfaithful Israel has done? She has ascended every high hill and gone under every green tree to prostitute herself there.

Then the Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah,“ Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She went up on every high hill and under every leafy tree, and she prostituted herself there.

The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king:“ Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there played the harlot.

Moreover Jehovah said unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

In the days of King Josiah the Lord asked me,“ Have you seen what unfaithful Israel has done? She has ascended every high hill and gone under every green tree to prostitute herself there.

The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen[ that] which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

When Josiah was king of Judah, the LORD said to me,“ Jeremiah, you have no doubt seen what wayward Israel has done. You have seen how she went up to every high hill and under every green tree to give herself like a prostitute to other gods.

Moreover, Yahweh said to me in the days of Josiah the king,“ Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and has played the prostitute there.

因你在一切市口上建造圓頂花樓，在各街上做了高臺，你卻藐視賞賜，不像妓女。

因為他們在各高岡上，各青翠樹下築壇，立柱像和木偶。

因為我領他們到了我起誓應許賜給他們的地，他們看見各高山、各茂密樹，就在那裏獻祭，奉上惹我發怒的供物，也在那裏焚燒馨香的祭牲，並澆上奠祭。

他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟隨從自己的計謀和頑梗的惡心，向後不向前。

他們的兒女記念他們高岡上、青翠樹旁的壇和木偶。

又為自己建造圓頂花樓，在各街上做了高臺。你在一切市口上建造高臺，使你的美貌變為可憎的，又與一切過路的多行淫亂。

背道的以色列行淫，我為這緣故給她休書休她；我看見她奸詐的妹妹猶大，還不懼怕，也去行淫。

「她妹妹阿荷利巴雖然看見了，卻還貪戀，比她姊姊更醜；行淫亂比她姊姊更多。

你自己的惡必懲治你；你背道的事必責備你。由此可知可見，你離棄耶和華－你的神，不存敬畏我的心，乃為惡事，為苦事。這是主－萬軍之耶和華說的。我在古時折斷你的軛，解開你的繩索。你說：我必不事奉耶和華；因為你在各高岡上、各青翠樹下屈身行淫。

耶和華對我說：「背道的以色列比奸詐的猶大還顯為義。你去向北方宣告說：耶和華說：背道的以色列啊，回來吧！我必不怒目看你們；因為我是慈愛的，我必不永遠存怒。這是耶和華說的。只要承認你的罪孽，就是你違背耶和華－你的神，在各青翠樹下向別神東奔西跑，沒有聽從我的話。這是耶和華說的。耶和華說：背道的兒女啊，回來吧！因為我作你們的丈夫，並且我必將你們從一城取一人，從一族取兩人，帶到錫安。

這是因以色列人得罪那領他們出埃及地、脫離埃及王法老手的耶和華－他們的神，去敬畏別神，隨從耶和華在他們面前所趕出外邦人的風俗和以色列諸王所立的條規。以色列人暗中行不正的事，違背耶和華－他們的神，在他們所有的城邑，從瞭望樓直到堅固城，建築邱壇；在各高岡上、各青翠樹下立柱像和木偶；在邱壇上燒香，效法耶和華在他們面前趕出的外邦人所行的，又行惡事惹動耶和華的怒氣；且事奉偶像，就是耶和華警戒他們不可行的。但耶和華藉眾先知、先見勸戒以色列人和猶大人說：「當離開你們的惡行，謹守我的誡命律例，遵行我吩咐你們列祖，並藉我僕人眾先知所傳給你們的律法。」他們卻不聽從，竟硬着頸項，效法他們列祖，不信服耶和華－他們的神，厭棄他的律例和他與他們列祖所立的約，並勸戒他們的話，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄，效法周圍的外邦人，就是耶和華囑咐他們不可效法的；離棄耶和華－他們神的一切誡命，為自己鑄了兩個牛犢的像，立了亞舍拉，敬拜天上的萬象，事奉巴力，又使他們的兒女經火，用占卜，行法術賣了自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣。

你在高而又高的山上安設牀榻，也上那裏去獻祭。
