You will not always be angry with me, will you? You will not be mad at me forever, will you?’ That is what you say, but you continually do all the evil that you can.”

耶和华岂永远怀怒，存留到底吗？’看哪，你又发恶言又行坏事，随自己的私意而行。”

人岂永远怀恨，长久存怒吗？’看哪，你虽这样说，还是竭尽所能去行恶。”

人岂永远怀恨，长久存怒吗？’看哪，你虽这样说，还是竭尽所能去行恶。”

难道你会永远发怒、怀恨到底吗？’你虽然这样说，却仍大肆作恶。”

耶和华怎会永远怀怒，常存愤恨呢？’你虽然这样说了，还是尽力去作恶。”

耶和華豈永遠懷怒，存留到底嗎？看哪，你又發惡言又行壞事，隨自己的私意而行。」

人豈永遠懷恨，長久存怒嗎？』看哪，你雖這樣說，還是竭盡所能去行惡。」

你心裏想：難道永恆主要永遠懷怒？要長久存着義忿麼？」看哪，你雖這麼說了，你卻盡所能地去作壞事！』

彼豈含怒迄於永久、蓄忿至於終極乎、爾雖言此、而仍作惡、以成爾欲、○

予不恆責爾、不屢怒爾、然爾所言所行、惟惡而已。

主必不永懷怒、不常含怒、爾雖有此言、仍竭力行惡、○

will you always be angry? Will your wrath continue forever?’ This is how you talk, but you do all the evil you can.”

Will you always be angry with me? Will your anger continue forever?’ This is how you talk. But you do all the evil things you can.”

will he be angry forever, will he be indignant to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could.”

Surely you won’t be angry forever! Surely you can forget about it!’ So you talk, but you keep on doing all the evil you can.”

Will he bear a grudge forever? Will he be endlessly infuriated?” This is what you have said, but you have done the evil things you are capable of.

Will He be angry forever, Or keep His anger to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken And have done evil things, And you have had your own way.”

Will He remain angry forever? Will He keep it to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken and done evil things, As you were able.”

Will he retain his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and hast done evil things, and hast had thy way.

Will He bear a grudge forever? Will He be endlessly infuriated?” This is what you have said, but you have done the evil things you are capable of.

Will he reserve[ his anger] for ever? will he keep[ it] to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

“‘ Will he retain his anger forever? Will he keep it to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken and have done evil things, and have had your way.”

For I will not be hostile forever or perpetually angry, for then man’s spirit would grow faint before me, the life-giving breath I created.

“ Go and shout this message to my people in the countries in the north. Tell them,‘ Come back to me, wayward Israel,’ says the LORD.‘ I will not continue to look on you with displeasure. For I am merciful,’ says the LORD.‘ I will not be angry with you forever.

Will you stay mad at us forever? Will you remain angry throughout future generations?

They are determined to be experts at doing evil; government officials and judges take bribes, prominent men make demands, and they all do what is necessary to satisfy them.

“‘ See how each of the princes of Israel living within you has used his authority to shed blood.

The LORD is compassionate and merciful; he is patient and demonstrates great loyal love.He does not always accuse, and does not stay angry.

The filthy, stained city is as good as dead; the city filled with oppressors is finished!She is disobedient; she refuses correction. She does not trust the LORD; she does not seek the advice of her God.Her princes are as fierce as roaring lions; her rulers are as hungry as wolves in the desert, who completely devour their prey by morning.Her prophets are proud; they are deceitful men. Her priests defile what is holy; they break God’s laws.The just LORD resides within her; he commits no unjust acts. Every morning he reveals his justice. At dawn he appears without fail. Yet the unjust know no shame.

I asked,“ Will the Lord reject me forever? Will he never again show me his favor?Has his loyal love disappeared forever? Has his promise failed forever?Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has his anger stifled his compassion?”

LORD, do not be too angry! Do not hold our sins against us continually! Take a good look at your people, at all of us!

Those who devise sinful plans are as good as dead, those who dream about doing evil as they lie in bed. As soon as morning dawns they carry out their plans, because they have the power to do so.
