我必把他們栽於他們自己的土地，他們再不會從我賜給他們的土地上被拔除。”這是耶和華你的神說的。

看哪！我必把他們從北方之地領回來，把他們從地極招集起來；在他們中間有瞎眼的、瘸腿的、孕婦、產婦，都在一起；他們成群結隊返回這裡。

卻要指著那領以色列家的後裔從北方之地、從他（“他”原文作“我”）把他們趕逐到的各地上來的、永活的耶和華起誓。他們就必住在自己的地方。”

你去，把這些話向北方宣告，說：‘背道的以色列啊，回轉吧！’這是耶和華的宣告。‘我必不向你們變臉，因為我是慈愛的，我必不永遠懷怒。’這是耶和華的宣告。

“他們卻要指著那領以色列人從北方之地，從他們被趕逐到的各國上來的永活的耶和華起誓。因我要領他們回到自己的土地，就是我從前賜給他們列祖的。

到那日，主必再用自己的手，贖回他子民中的餘民，就是從亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿和哈馬，以及眾海島所剩下的。他必向列國豎起旗幟，召聚以色列被擄去的人，又從地的四方聚集分散了的猶大人。以法蓮的嫉妒必消除，那敵視猶大的必被剪除；以法蓮必不再嫉妒猶大，猶大也必不再敵視以法蓮。

“人子啊！你要拿一根木杖，在上面寫‘猶大和那些與他一起的以色列人’；又拿另一根木杖，在上面寫‘以法蓮的木杖，就是約瑟和與他一起的以色列全家’。你要把這兩根木杖連接在一起，使它們在你手裡成為一根。如果你本國的人民問你：‘你不告訴我們這些木杖是甚麼意思嗎？’你就要回答他們：‘主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要拿約瑟和與他一起的以色列眾支派的木杖，就是在以法蓮手裡的，跟猶大的木杖連接在一起，使它們在我手裡成為一根。’你寫上了字的那兩根木杖，要在他們眼前握在手裡；你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要把以色列人從他們所到的列國中領出來，又從四圍聚集他們，把他們領回故土。我要使他們在那地上，在以色列的眾山上，成為一國；必有一王統治他們眾人；他們不再是兩個國，不再分為兩個邦。

以法蓮用虛謊，以色列家用詭詐包圍著我；猶大還是與神對抗，就是對抗那可信可靠的至聖者。”（本節在《馬索拉文本》為12:1）

看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我必使我的子民以色列和猶大被擄的人歸回。’耶和華說：‘我必使他們回到我賜給他們列祖之地，他們要重得這地為業。’”

到那些日子，那時候，人要尋查以色列的罪孽，卻無所發現；要查究猶大的罪惡，卻一無所見；因為我必赦免我留下的那些人。”這是耶和華的宣告。

“因此，主耶和華這樣說：現在我要使雅各被擄的歸回；我要憐憫以色列全家，又為我的聖名大發熱心。他們在自己的土地上安然居住、無人驚嚇的時候，就要擔當自己的羞辱和向我所犯一切不忠的罪；我把他們從萬族中領回來，從仇敵之地召回來的時候，我必在他們身上向列國顯為聖。我使他們被擄到列國去，後來又聚集他們到自己的土地，連一個也不再留在列國那裡。這樣，他們就知道我是耶和華他們的神。

我要使猶大家強盛起來，我必拯救約瑟家。我要使他們歸回，因為我憐憫他們；他們好像未遭我棄絕一樣，因為我是耶和華他們的神，我必應允他們。
