In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land,” declares the Lord,“ people will no longer say,‘ The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made.

In those days there will be many more of you in the land,” announces the Lord.“ Then people will not talk about the ark of the covenant of the Lord anymore. It will never enter their minds. They will not remember it. The ark will not be missed. And another one will not be made.

And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the Lord, they shall no more say,“ The ark of the covenant of the Lord.” It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again.

“ And when your land is once more filled with people,” says the Lord,“ you will no longer wish for‘ the good old days’ when you possessed the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant. You will not miss those days or even remember them, and there will be no need to rebuild the Ark.

When you multiply and increase in the land, in those days— this is the LORD’s declaration— no one will say again,“ The ark of the LORD’s covenant.” It will never come to mind, and no one will remember or miss it. Another one will not be made.

And it shall be in those days when you become numerous and are fruitful in the land,” declares the Lord,“ they will no longer say,‘ The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ And it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor miss it, nor will it be made again.

“ Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the Lord,“ that they will say no more,‘ The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore.

In those days, your population will greatly increase in the land. At that time,” says the LORD,“ people will no longer talk about having the ark that contains the LORD’s covenant with us. They will not call it to mind, remember it, or miss it. No, that will not be done any more!

It will come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days,” says Yahweh,“ they will no longer say,‘ the ark of Yahweh’s covenant!’ It will not come to mind. They won’t remember it. They won’t miss it, nor will another be made.

耶和華這樣說：“天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳；你們要在哪裡為我建造殿宇呢？怎樣的地方才是我安息的所在呢？”耶和華說：“這一切都是我親手所造的，所以它們就有了。以下這種人是我要垂顧的，就是謙卑、心靈傷痛、因我的話而戰兢的人。

“看哪！我要創造新天新地；先前的事不再被人記念，也不再湧上心頭了。

他們必重建久已廢棄的荒場，建立先前荒涼之地；重修荒廢了的城鎮，就是歷代荒涼之處。

看哪！我必把他們從北方之地領回來，把他們從地極招集起來；在他們中間有瞎眼的、瘸腿的、孕婦、產婦，都在一起；他們成群結隊返回這裡。

所以，弟兄們！我們憑著耶穌的血，可以坦然無懼地進入至聖所。這進入的路，是他給我們開闢的，是一條通過幔子、又新又活的路，這幔子就是他的身體。我們既然有一位偉大的祭司治理神的家，

最小的要成為一族，微弱的要成為強盛的國，我耶和華必按著定期速速作成這事。

“‘以色列的眾山啊！你們必長出枝條，為我的子民以色列結出果子，因為他們快要回來了。看哪！我是幫助你們的，我必轉向你們，使人可以在你們上面耕種和撒種。我要使以色列全家的人數在你們上面增多；城市有人居住，廢墟可以重建。我必使人和牲畜都在你們上面增多；他們必繁衍增多；我必使你們有人居住，像從前一樣，並要使你們比先前更蒙福。你們就知道我是耶和華。我必使人，就是我的子民以色列，在你上面行走；他們必得你為業；你必作他們的產業，也不再使他們喪失子女。

你們心裡不要以為：‘我們有亞伯拉罕作我們的祖宗。’我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起後裔來。

必有感謝的歌聲，和歡笑的聲音從其中發出來。我必使他們人數增多，不會減少；我必使他們得尊榮，不再被人輕看。

以法蓮人必像勇士，他們心中快樂，好像飲了酒一樣；他們的子孫看見了，也必快樂；他們的心必因耶和華歡樂。我要向他們吹哨子，招聚他們，因為我救贖了他們。他們的人數要增多，像從前一樣。雖然我把他們散播在萬民中，他們仍要在遠方記念我；他們與他們的子孫都要存活，並且歸回。

“然而，以色列人的數目，必多如海邊的沙，量不盡，數不完。從前在甚麼地方對他們說：‘你們不是我的子民’，將來要在那裡對他們說：‘你們是永活的神的兒子。’猶大人和以色列人要聚集在一起，為自己立一位首領，並離開那地上去，因為耶斯列的日子必為大日。”（本章第10~11節在《馬索拉文本》為2:1~2）

我必使我的子民以色列被擄的人回歸，他們必重建荒廢的城，住在其中；他們必栽種葡萄園，喝園中的酒；建造果園，吃園中的果子。我必把他們栽於他們自己的土地，他們再不會從我賜給他們的土地上被拔除。”這是耶和華你的神說的。

到了那日，你必不因你背叛我所作的一切感到羞愧，因為那時我必從你中間除掉那些自高自大的人。在我的聖山上，你必不再高傲。

我們的祖先在這山上敬拜神，而你們卻說，敬拜的地方必須在耶路撒冷。”耶穌說：“婦人，你應當信我，時候將到，那時你們敬拜父，不在這山上，也不在耶路撒冷。你們敬拜你們所不知道的，我們卻敬拜我們所知道的，因為救恩是從猶太人出來的。然而時候將到，現在就是了，那靠著聖靈按著真理敬拜父的，才是真正敬拜的人；因為父在尋找這樣敬拜他的人。神是靈，敬拜他的必須靠著聖靈按著真理敬拜他。”

“看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我必使以色列家和猶大家人口和牲畜繁衍。

前面說：“祭品和禮物，燔祭和贖罪祭，不是你所要的，也不是你所喜悅的。”這些都是按照律法獻的；接著又說：“看哪！我來了，是要遵行你的旨意。”可見他廢除那先前的，為要建立那後來的。

猶太人被擄到巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的兄弟。

你們不要倚靠虛謊的話，說：‘這是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿。’

這第一進會幕是現今的時代的預表，其實所獻的禮物和祭品，都不能使敬拜的人在良心上得到完全。這些只是關於飲食和各樣潔淨的禮儀，是在“更新的時候”來到之前，為肉體立的規例。但基督已經來了，作了已經實現的美好事物的大祭司；他經過更大、更完備的會幕（不是人手所做的，也就是不屬於這被造的世界的）。他不是用山羊和牛犢的血，而是用自己的血，只一次進了至聖所，就得到了永遠的救贖。

耶和華說：“看哪！我必下令，我必在列國中篩以色列家，好像人用篩子篩穀，但穀粒不會落在地上。
