上帝就按自己的形像創造人：按上帝的形像創造他：創造他們有男有女。上帝就給他們祝福說：『要繁殖增多，充滿全地，去征服它；也要管理海裏的魚、空中的飛鳥、和在地上行動的各樣活物。』

示劍對父親哈抹說：『求你給我聘取這女孩子為妻。』

若有人以為待自己的處女朋友不合宜；他若性慾旺盛、又該這樣成事，便可以如願而行，並不是犯罪；他們可以結婚。但若有人心裏已經立定，既沒有不得已的事，對自己的意思又有主權，自己心裏也已決定要保守自己的處女朋友：這樣行也好。所以同自己的處女朋友結婚的固然好，不同她結婚的更好。

所以我願年輕婦女結婚，生養兒女，治理家務，絕不給敵人有可辱罵的因由。
