“ Send word to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has made you trust in a lie,”

“你当寄信给一切被掳的人说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他使你们倚靠谎言；

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你派人送信给所有被掳的人，说，‘耶和华说祂没有差遣尼希兰人示玛雅，他却说预言，诱使你们听信谎言，

“你要寄信给所有被掳的人，说：‘论到尼希兰人示玛雅，耶和华这样说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他竟使你们信靠谎言。

「你派人送信給所有被擄的人，說，『耶和華說祂沒有差遣尼希蘭人示瑪雅，他卻說預言，誘使你們聽信謊言，

“你要寄信給所有被擄的人，說：‘論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，耶和華這樣說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他竟使你們信靠謊言。

『你要寄信給所有流亡的人說：「永恆主論尼希蘭人示瑪雅是這麼說的：因為示瑪雅向你們傳神言，而我並沒有差遣了他，他竟使你們倚靠着虛假，

致書告諸俘囚曰、耶和華論尼希蘭人示瑪雅云、緣示瑪雅與爾預言、我未遣之、惟彼使爾妄誕是恃、

爾當致書、告諸俘囚者曰、尼希蘭人示罵雅、予耶和華未之遣也、彼傳言以惑眾、

爾當致書、告諸被擄者曰、主如是云、尼希蘭人示瑪雅、我未嘗遣之、彼竟於爾妄傳預言、使爾倚賴虛誑、

“ Send this message to all the exiles:‘ This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies,

“ Send a message to all the people who were taken away. Tell them,‘ The Lord speaks about Shemaiah, the Nehelamite. He says,“ Shemaiah has prophesied to you. But I did not send him. He has made you trust in lies.

“ Send to all the exiles, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah of Nehelam: Because Shemaiah had prophesied to you when I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie,

“ Send an open letter to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Since he has prophesied to you when I did not send him and has tricked you into believing his lies,

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the LORD says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

Send to all those in captivity, saying, Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I have not sent him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie—

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith Jehovah concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he hath caused you to trust in a lie;

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying: This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

“ Send a message to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ The LORD has spoken about Shemaiah the Nehelamite.“ Shemaiah has spoken to you as a prophet even though I did not send him. He is making you trust in a lie.

“ Send to all of the captives, saying,‘ Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;”

For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,’ declares the Lord.

Because you disheartened the righteous with falsehood when I did not cause him pain, but you have encouraged the wicked not to turn from his wicked way to keep him alive,therefore you women will no longer see deceitful visions or practice divination, and I will save My people from your hands. So you will know that I am the Lord.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own minds.Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them— yet they keep saying:‘ There will be no sword or famine in this land’— by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end!

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Because you have spoken deceit and have seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord God.“ So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, so that you may know that I am the Lord God.It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying,‘ Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, hailstones, will fall, and a violent wind will break out.Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked,‘ Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?’ ”Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and hurl it down to the ground, so that its foundation is exposed; and when it falls, you will perish in its midst. And you will know that I am the Lord.So I will expend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you,‘ The wall is gone and those who plastered it are gone,along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see a vision of peace for her when there is no peace,’ declares the Lord God.

because they acted foolishly in Israel, and committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and falsely spoke words in My name which I did not command them. I am He who knows, and a witness,” declares the Lord.’ ”Now you shall speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,

I did not send these prophets, But they ran. I did not speak to them, But they prophesied.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet,“ Listen now, Hananiah: the Lord has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie.Therefore, this is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to remove you from the face of the earth. This year you are going to die, because you spoke falsely against the Lord.’ ”So Hananiah the prophet died in the same year, in the seventh month.

But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.
