Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

“你当寄信给一切被掳的人说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他使你们倚靠谎言；

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你派人送信给所有被掳的人，说，‘耶和华说祂没有差遣尼希兰人示玛雅，他却说预言，诱使你们听信谎言，

“你要寄信给所有被掳的人，说：‘论到尼希兰人示玛雅，耶和华这样说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他竟使你们信靠谎言。

「你當寄信給一切被擄的人說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他使你們倚靠謊言；

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你派人送信給所有被擄的人，說，『耶和華說祂沒有差遣尼希蘭人示瑪雅，他卻說預言，誘使你們聽信謊言，

“你要寄信給所有被擄的人，說：‘論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，耶和華這樣說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他竟使你們信靠謊言。

『你要寄信給所有流亡的人說：「永恆主論尼希蘭人示瑪雅是這麼說的：因為示瑪雅向你們傳神言，而我並沒有差遣了他，他竟使你們倚靠着虛假，

致書告諸俘囚曰、耶和華論尼希蘭人示瑪雅云、緣示瑪雅與爾預言、我未遣之、惟彼使爾妄誕是恃、

爾當致書、告諸俘囚者曰、尼希蘭人示罵雅、予耶和華未之遣也、彼傳言以惑眾、

爾當致書、告諸被擄者曰、主如是云、尼希蘭人示瑪雅、我未嘗遣之、彼竟於爾妄傳預言、使爾倚賴虛誑、

“ Send this message to all the exiles:‘ This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies,

“ Send a message to all the people who were taken away. Tell them,‘ The Lord speaks about Shemaiah, the Nehelamite. He says,“ Shemaiah has prophesied to you. But I did not send him. He has made you trust in lies.

“ Send to all the exiles, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah of Nehelam: Because Shemaiah had prophesied to you when I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie,

“ Send an open letter to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Since he has prophesied to you when I did not send him and has tricked you into believing his lies,

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the LORD says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

“ Send word to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has made you trust in a lie,”

Send to all those in captivity, saying, Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I have not sent him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie—

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith Jehovah concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he hath caused you to trust in a lie;

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying: This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

“ Send a message to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ The LORD has spoken about Shemaiah the Nehelamite.“ Shemaiah has spoken to you as a prophet even though I did not send him. He is making you trust in a lie.

“ Send to all of the captives, saying,‘ Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;”

For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I[ am] against you, saith the Lord GOD.And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I[ am] the Lord GOD.Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and[ there was] no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered[ morter]:Say unto them which daub[ it] with untempered[ morter], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend[ it].Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where[ is] the daubing wherewith ye have daubed[ it]?Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend[ it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in[ my] fury to consume[ it].So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered[ morter], and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered[ morter], and will say unto you, The wall[ is] no[ more], neither they that daubed it;[ To wit], the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and[ there is] no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and[ am] a witness, saith the LORD.[ Thus] shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
