“你要寄信给所有被掳的人，说：‘论到尼希兰人示玛雅，耶和华这样说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他竟使你们信靠谎言。

“你当寄信给一切被掳的人说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他使你们倚靠谎言；

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你派人送信给所有被掳的人，说，‘耶和华说祂没有差遣尼希兰人示玛雅，他却说预言，诱使你们听信谎言，

「你當寄信給一切被擄的人說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他使你們倚靠謊言；

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你派人送信給所有被擄的人，說，『耶和華說祂沒有差遣尼希蘭人示瑪雅，他卻說預言，誘使你們聽信謊言，

“你要寄信給所有被擄的人，說：‘論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，耶和華這樣說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他竟使你們信靠謊言。

『你要寄信給所有流亡的人說：「永恆主論尼希蘭人示瑪雅是這麼說的：因為示瑪雅向你們傳神言，而我並沒有差遣了他，他竟使你們倚靠着虛假，

致書告諸俘囚曰、耶和華論尼希蘭人示瑪雅云、緣示瑪雅與爾預言、我未遣之、惟彼使爾妄誕是恃、

爾當致書、告諸俘囚者曰、尼希蘭人示罵雅、予耶和華未之遣也、彼傳言以惑眾、

爾當致書、告諸被擄者曰、主如是云、尼希蘭人示瑪雅、我未嘗遣之、彼竟於爾妄傳預言、使爾倚賴虛誑、

“ Send this message to all the exiles:‘ This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies,

“ Send a message to all the people who were taken away. Tell them,‘ The Lord speaks about Shemaiah, the Nehelamite. He says,“ Shemaiah has prophesied to you. But I did not send him. He has made you trust in lies.

“ Send to all the exiles, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah of Nehelam: Because Shemaiah had prophesied to you when I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie,

“ Send an open letter to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Since he has prophesied to you when I did not send him and has tricked you into believing his lies,

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the LORD says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

“ Send word to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has made you trust in a lie,”

Send to all those in captivity, saying, Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I have not sent him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie—

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith Jehovah concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he hath caused you to trust in a lie;

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying: This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

“ Send a message to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ The LORD has spoken about Shemaiah the Nehelamite.“ Shemaiah has spoken to you as a prophet even though I did not send him. He is making you trust in a lie.

“ Send to all of the captives, saying,‘ Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;”

因为他们冒我名对你们说虚假的预言，我并没有差派他们。’这是耶和华的宣告。

我没有使义人灰心，你们却用谎言使他们灰心，又坚固恶人的手，使他们不转离恶道而得拯救。因此，你们不得再见虚假的异象，也不得再行占卜的事；我要救我的子民脱离你们的手。你们就知道我是耶和华。’”

耶和华对我说：“那些先知借我的名说假预言；我并没有差遣他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有向他们说话。他们对你们所预言的，是虚假的异象、占卜的预兆、虚无的事，和他们自己心里的诡诈。”因此，耶和华这样说：“关于那些借我名说预言的先知，我并没有差遣他们，他们竟说：‘这地必不会有刀剑和饥荒。’那些先知必被刀剑和饥荒灭绝。

因此，主耶和华这样说：“因为你们所说的是虚假，所见的是欺诈，因此我就攻击你们。这是主耶和华的宣告。我的手必攻击那些看见虚假异象、以占卜骗人的先知，他们必不得列在我子民的会中，不得被记录在以色列家的名册上，也不得进入以色列地；你们就知道我是主耶和华。因为他们迷惑了我的子民，说：‘平安了。’其实没有平安。有人筑起薄墙的时候，他们就用灰泥粉刷那墙。所以你要对那些用灰泥粉刷那墙的人说：‘那墙要倒塌，必有暴雨漫过。大冰雹啊！你们要降下，狂风也必暴刮。’那墙倒塌以后，人岂不会问你们：‘你们所粉刷的在哪里呢？’”因此，主耶和华这样说：“我要在我的烈怒中使狂风暴刮；在我的忿怒中有暴雨漫过；在烈怒中有大冰雹降下毁灭这墙。我要拆毁你们用灰泥粉刷的墙。使它倾倒在地，以致根基露出来；墙必倒塌，你们必在其中灭亡；你们就知道我是耶和华。我必这样向墙，和向那些用灰泥粉刷这墙的人发尽我的烈怒。我要对他们说：‘墙没有了！粉刷那墙的人也没有了！’粉刷那墙的人，就是以色列的众先知；他们指着耶路撒冷说预言，在没有平安的时候，为这城见平安的异象。这是主耶和华的宣告。

因为他们二人在以色列中行了无耻的事，他们和邻舍的妻子通奸，又冒我的名说虚假的话，是我没有吩咐他们说的。我知道一切，也可以作证。’这是耶和华的宣告。”耶和华吩咐耶利米说：“你要对尼希兰人示玛雅说：

“我没有差派这些先知，但他们自己到处跑；我没有对他们说话，他们竟擅自说预言。

耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅啊！你要听，耶和华并没有差遣你，你竟使这人民信靠谎言。因此耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必使你离开人世；你今年一定死，因为你说了悖逆耶和华的话。’”这样，在当年七月，哈拿尼雅先知就死了。

从前在人民中，曾有假先知出来；照样，将来在你们中间，也必有假教师出现。他们偷偷把使人灭亡的异端引进来，甚至否认那曾经买赎他们的主，迅速地自取灭亡。
