‘耶和华已经立你西番雅为祭司，代替祭司耶何耶大，使耶和华殿中有官长，好将一切狂妄自称为先知的人用枷枷住，用锁锁住。

耶和華立爾為祭司、以代祭司耶何耶大、俾在耶和華室為督、凡狂妄之徒、自稱為先知者、爾當執之、拘以項械、加以桎梏、

耶和華俾爾為祭司、以代耶何耶大、兼在耶和華殿為督、凡狂妄者流、自稱為先知、俾爾執之、囚之於獄、加以桎梏。

‘ The Lord has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the Lord; you should put any maniac who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons.

“ The Lord has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada. He has put you in charge of the Lord’ s house. You are supposed to arrest any crazy person who claims to be a prophet. You should put him in prison. You should put iron bands around his neck.

‘ The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the priest, to have charge in the house of the Lord over every madman who prophesies, to put him in the stocks and neck irons.

“ The Lord has appointed you to replace Jehoiada as the priest in charge of the house of the Lord. You are responsible to put into stocks and neck irons any crazy man who claims to be a prophet.

‘ The LORD has appointed you priest in place of the priest Jehoiada to be the chief officer in the temple of the LORD, responsible for every madman who acts like a prophet. You must confine him in the stocks and an iron collar.

“ The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the priest, to be the overseer of the house of the Lord for every insane person who prophesies, to put him in the stocks and in the iron collar.

“ The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the priest, so that there should be officers in the house of the Lord over every man who is demented and considers himself a prophet, that you should put him in prison and in the stocks.

Jehovah hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that there may be officers in the house of Jehovah, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in the stocks and in shackles.

祭司音麥子巴施戶珥巴施戶珥譯即隨處逍遙自在之義為主殿之首宰、聞耶利米述此預言、則撻先知耶利米、加以桎梏、囚於主殿之一門、即便雅憫崇門、

耶戶出、見其主王之臣僕、彼問曰、平安乎、彼顛狂者來見爾何故、謂之曰、爾曹識其人、亦知其所言、

其中多曰、彼憑於魔而狂、胡為聽之、

降罰之日速至、施報之日將臨、以色列人必知偽先知愚魯、自言感神者顛狂、皆因爾多犯罪惡、大懷怨恨、

保羅如此申訴、非司都大聲曰、保羅、爾狂矣、爾多學而狂、

其親屬聞之即至、欲援而止之、因謂其癲狂、

爾中若有先知或作夢者出、預言異兆奇事、所言之異兆奇事有驗、遂教爾曰、我儕莫若從事異邦之神、異邦之神或作別神下同此神即爾素所未識者、毋聽其先知或作夢者之言、蓋主爾之天主試爾、欲知爾盡心盡意愛主爾天主否、惟爾當順從敬畏主爾之天主、守其誡、聽其命、奉事之、親慕之、惟彼先知或作夢者、既以言教爾違逆主爾之天主、即導爾出伊及贖爾於為奴之地者、誘爾離主爾天主所命爾行之道、則必殺之、除爾中之惡、○

獄吏受令、下之內獄、以木桎械其足、

今亞拿突人耶利米、自稱為先知於爾中、自稱為先知於爾中或作向爾曹述預言何弗斥之、

如復有人妄言未來事、妄言未來事或作妄述預言則生之之父母必責之曰、爾佯託主名而言、必不得生、生之之父母、必因其言未來事言末來事或作傳述預言下同刺之、當是日自稱先知、見異象、言未來事者、必致羞辱、不復衣毛衣以欺人、乃告人曰、我非先知、我乃農夫、我自幼時、被鬻為奴、被鬻為奴或作人使我守群畜如人問之曰、爾手之傷、自何而有、必曰、此我在親友家所受之傷、或作如人問之曰爾兩手間何為有傷痕必曰我昔在親友家曾受傷也

使徒與民言時、諸祭司、及司聖殿者、與撒度該人突如其來、

耶穌入聖殿、教誨時、祭司諸長及民之長老、就之曰、爾以何權行此諸事、賜爾此權者誰乎、

但我從牖中、以筐自城墻而縋、得脫其手、

眾遂以耶利米下於哈米勒子瑪勒家坑中、即在獄院、以繩縋之下、坑無水、惟有淤泥、耶利米遂沈入於泥中、

爾豈大於我祖亞伯拉罕乎、亞伯拉罕死、諸先知亦死、爾以己為何等人耶、

耶利米居於獄院、直至耶路撒冷被陷之日、耶路撒冷被陷之時、耶利米猶在獄院、

猶太人曰、我非為善事以石擊爾、乃為褻瀆之言、爾本為人、而以己為天主也、

且在諸會堂、我屢刑之、強使毀謗耶穌、攻之益狂、窘逐之至外邑、

祭司耶何耶大命轄軍諸百夫長曰、當逐之出班列之外、凡隨其後者必殺以刀、蓋祭司曰、不可殺斯婦於主之殿宇、

大祭司、與司聖殿者及祭司諸長、聞此言、為之猶豫、不知此事、後將若何、

國民往巴力殿、拆殿及其中諸壇、又碎其諸偶像、將巴力之祭司馬坦殺於壇前、祭司耶何耶大遂在主殿設守殿之官、

爾必受苦、惟勿懼、魔將以爾數人投於獄、致爾被試、爾將受難十日、當盡忠至死、我必賜爾永生之冠冕、

告之曰、王命以此人拘於獄、加以艱苦、不使之食足飲足、原文作使之少食餅少飲水直待我安然而歸、

亞撒因此言、向先見震怒、囚之於獄、當時亞撒亦虐遇民中數人、

我若狂、乃為天主、我若拘謹、乃為爾曹、基督之愛勉勵我、因我思一人既代眾死、則眾皆死、彼代眾死、則生者勿為己而生、必為代其死而復生者生也、

遂起、執使徒囚於邑獄、
