For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies— which I did not authorize. I know it and am a witness to it,” declares the Lord.

我也看見耶路撒冷的先知行為可惡，他們通姦，謊話連篇，慫恿惡人，以致無人悔過自新。在我眼中，耶路撒冷人就像所多瑪人和蛾摩拉人一樣敗壞。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要來到你們當中施行審判，速速作證指控那些行邪術的、通姦的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、冤枉異鄉人的，以及不敬畏我的。

受造物在上帝面前都無法隱藏，因為萬物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我們必須向祂交帳。

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：「不要被你們中間的先知和占卜者欺騙，不要聽信他們做的夢。他們以我的名義對你們說假預言，其實我並沒有差遣他們。這是耶和華說的。」

因為我鑒察他們的一切行為，他們無法隱藏，他們的罪惡逃不過我的眼晴。

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：『哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底迦以我的名義說假預言，我要把他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，讓他當著你們的面處死他們。

因為人的所作所為逃不過耶和華的眼目，祂必鑒察人走的一切路。

「我沒有差遣這些先知，他們卻妄自行動；我沒有對他們說話，他們卻亂發預言。

「你要寫信告訴老底嘉教會的天使，那位實實在在、誠信無偽的見證人，就是上帝所造萬物的元首說，

耶和華說：「我是無處不在的上帝。」耶和華說：「難道人藏起來我就看不見了嗎？我豈不是充滿天地之間嗎？這是耶和華說的。

你們偷盜、謀殺、通姦、起假誓、向巴力獻祭、拜素不認識的神明，然後來到這用來敬拜我的殿，站在我面前說自己安全了，以為可以繼續做可憎之事。

但上帝對惡人說：「你怎能背誦我的律法，談論我的約？你憎惡我的管教，把我的話拋在腦後。你見了盜賊就與他同流合污，又喜歡與淫亂的人交往。

尤其是那些放縱污穢的情慾、輕視權柄的人。他們膽大妄為，肆無忌憚地毀謗有尊榮的。即使力量和權能更大的天使都不敢在主面前用毀謗的話控告有尊榮的。但他們好像沒有理性，生下來就是預備讓人捉去宰殺的牲畜，連自己不懂的事也隨口毀謗。他們在毀壞別人的時候，自己也必滅亡。他們多行不義，必自食惡果。他們喜愛在大白天尋歡作樂，是你們中間的敗類和渣滓，一面和你們同席，一面以欺騙為樂。他們眼中充滿淫慾，不停地犯罪，引誘那些信心不堅定的人。他們貪婪成性，實在是該受咒詛！他們離棄正道，走入歧途，重蹈比珥之子巴蘭先知的覆轍。巴蘭貪愛不義之財，因自己的罪而受了責備。不能說話的驢竟然像人一樣說起話來，制止了他狂妄的行為。他們如同枯乾的水井和被狂風吹散的霧氣，有幽幽黑暗留給他們。他們口出狂言，空話連篇，以肉體的邪情私慾為餌，誘惑那些剛剛擺脫了荒謬生活的人。他們應許那些人可以得自由，而自己卻做罪惡的奴隸，因為人被什麼制伏，就被什麼奴役。

你們還問為什麼。因為耶和華在你和你的髮妻中間作證，她是你的配偶，是你盟約的妻子，你卻對她不忠。

你在山上和田野間拜偶像，像無恥的婦人與情郎苟合，發出淫語浪聲。這些可憎之事，我都看見了。耶路撒冷啊，你有禍了！你什麼時候才肯自潔呢？」

同樣，這些作夢的人玷污自己的身體，不服權柄，褻瀆有尊榮的。當天使長米迦勒為摩西的屍體跟魔鬼爭辯的時候，尚且不敢用毀謗的話譴責牠，只說：「願主責罰你！」這些人卻毀謗自己不明白的事，像沒有理性的野獸一樣憑本能行事，結果自取滅亡。他們大禍臨頭了！他們步了該隱的後塵，為謀利而重蹈巴蘭的謬誤，又像可拉一樣因叛逆而滅亡。

她的先知是狂妄詭詐之徒，她的祭司褻瀆聖殿，違背律法。
