I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse and an object of horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them.

I will hunt them down with war, hunger and plague. I will make all the kingdoms on earth displeased with them. They will use their name in a curse. All the nations where I drive them will be shocked at them. They will make fun of them. And they will bring shame on them.

I will pursue them with sword, famine, and pestilence, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,

Yes, I will pursue them with war, famine, and disease, and I will scatter them around the world. In every nation where I send them, I will make them an object of damnation, horror, contempt, and mockery.

「耶和華必使你在仇敵面前潰敗。你從一條路去攻擊他們，必從七條路逃跑。地上萬國必因你而驚駭。

凡過路的都向你拍掌。他們向耶路撒冷嗤笑，搖頭：「這就是人稱為全美的、稱為全地所喜悅的城嗎？」你所有的仇敵張口來攻擊你；他們嗤笑，切齒，說：「我們把她吞滅了，這是我們所盼望的日子！我們終於等到了，親眼看見了！」

看哪，我必召北方的眾族和我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前來攻擊這地和這地的居民，並四圍所有的國民。我要將他們盡行滅絕，以致他們令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且永久荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

你們必留下自己的名給我選民指着賭咒：主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。

「我必留下一些人，你們中有人得以在列國中脫離刀劍，分散在列邦。

我就必把以色列從我賜給他們的地上剪除，也必從我面前捨棄那為我名所分別為聖的殿，使以色列在萬民中成為笑柄，被人譏誚。這殿雖然崇高，將來凡經過的人必驚訝，嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』

「倘若你們轉去，離棄我擺在你們面前的律例誡命，去事奉別神，敬拜它們，我就必把以色列人從我賜給他們的地上連根拔起，也必從我面前捨棄那為我名所分別為聖的殿，使它在萬民中成為笑柄，被人譏誚。這殿雖然崇高，將來凡經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』人必說：『因為此地的人離棄領他們祖先出埃及地的耶和華－他們的上帝，去親近別神，敬拜事奉它們，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

我將他們分散到列國，四散在列邦，按他們的所作所為懲罰他們。

在巴比倫所有被擄的猶大人必藉這二人賭咒說：願耶和華使你像巴比倫王在火中焚燒的西底家和亞哈一樣。

我必以旋風將他們吹散到素不認識的萬國中。他們離開以後，地就荒涼，無人來往經過；他們使美好之地荒涼了。」

耶和華又必照着寫在律法書上，約中的一切詛咒，將他從以色列眾支派中分別出來，使他遭受禍害。你們的後代，就是接續你們興起的子孫，和遠方來的外邦人，看見這地的災禍，以及耶和華所降於這地的疾病，遍地都被硫磺和鹽所侵蝕，不能耕種，沒有出產，連草都長不出來，好像耶和華在怒氣和憤怒中所傾覆的所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁一樣，萬國必說：『耶和華為甚麼向此地這樣做呢？為甚麼要大發烈怒呢？』人必說：『這是因為這地的人離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的上帝領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約，去事奉別神，敬拜他們所不認識的神明，這是耶和華未曾允許的。所以耶和華的怒氣向這地發作，將這書上所寫的一切詛咒都降在這地上。耶和華在怒氣、憤怒、大惱恨中將他們從本地拔出來，扔到別的地上，像今日一樣。』

我要把你驅散到列國，分散在列邦。我也必除掉你們中間的污穢。

他們要倒在刀下，又被擄到各國去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人踐踏，直到外邦人的日子滿了。」

耶和華必把你們分散在萬民中，從地的這邊到地的另一邊，在那裏你必事奉你和你列祖不認識的神明，就是木頭和石頭。

我就必使這殿如示羅，使這城成為地上萬國所詛咒的。』」

我必使這城令人驚駭嘲笑；凡路過的，必因這城所遭的災難驚駭嘲笑。

我要把你們驅散到列國中，也要拔刀追趕你們。你們的地要成為荒涼，你們的城鎮要變成廢墟。

你使我們如羊當作食物，把我們分散在列國中。

「看哪，我發命令，使以色列家在萬國中飄流，好像人用篩子篩穀，連一粒也不落在地上。
