萬有之主耶和華曾言之、曰、我必罰之、戮以鋒刃、降以饑饉、斃以疫癘、視若劣果、不堪適口。

万军之耶和华如此说：‘看哪，我必使刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫临到他们，使他们像极坏的无花果，坏得不可吃。

yes, this is what the Lord Almighty says:“ I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.

The Lord who rules over all says,“ I will send war, hunger and plague against them. I will make them like bad figs. They are so bad they can’t be eaten.

‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, behold, I am sending on them sword, famine, and pestilence, and I will make them like vile figs that are so rotten they cannot be eaten.

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:“ I will send war, famine, and disease upon them and make them like bad figs, too rotten to eat.

This is what the LORD of Armies says:“ I am about to send sword, famine, and plague against them, and I will make them like rotten figs that are inedible because they are so bad.

this is what the Lord of armies says:‘ Behold, I am sending upon them the sword, famine, and plague; and I will make them like rotten figs that cannot be eaten due to rottenness.

thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, I will send on them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like rotten figs that cannot be eaten, they are so bad.

thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so bad.

This is what the Lord of Hosts says:“ I am about to send against them sword, famine, and plague and will make them like rotten figs that are inedible because they are so bad.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

惟彼劣果、不堪適口、可比猶大王西底家、以及牧伯、耶路撒冷居民、斯土之遺眾、暨旅於埃及者。我必驅逐、散於列邦、遭人陷害凌辱、受人詛咒譏刺。我必於昔所賜爾祖及爾之地、戮以鋒刃、降以饑饉、斃以疾疫、滅之殆盡。

既以斯三者降罰其身、又必徙於天下萬邦、受人咒詛、不勝駭異、為人凌侮、時聞怨聲、

耶和華又諭我曰、人子、凡有民人、輒蹈愆尤、犯罪於我、我必罰之、使其餅餌匱乏、人畜饑餓、致於死亡、雖挪亞、但以理、約百三人旅其中、躬行仁義、亦止救一己之生命而已。如我使暴獸侵噬其國、致之荒蕪、人蹤罕見、雖斯三人居其中、我耶和華指己而誓、其國荒蕪之日、彼止能救一己之命、不能救其子女。如我降以鋒刃、使其國人畜、悉行翦滅、雖此三人居其中、我耶和華指己而誓、彼止能救一己之命、不能救其子女。如我使瘟疫、流布其國、震怒特甚、加以殺戮、人與畜無噍類焉、雖有挪亞、但以理、約百居其中、我耶和華指己而誓、彼為善者止能救一己之命、不能救其子女。主耶和華又曰、我使四災降於耶路撒冷、鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、瘟疫、使人畜靡有孑遺、其害豈非尤重乎。

隨在地大震、饑疫、天垂可畏大異之象、

既至、必擊埃及人、或亡於疾病、或戮於鋒刃、或被虜而去。

爾民三分之一、必亡於瘟疫饑饉、三分之一、必亡於鋒刃、三分之一、必散於四方、我亦襲之以白刃、怒既奮發、則雪予忿、使爾知予所言者、因熱中而言之、所行者、因憤烈而行之。我使爾國荒涼、如是之甚、四周列邦及過爾地者、無不駭異、共相姍笑。我怒憤烈、降以重災、使四方之民譏笑侮慢、以爾之事為可戒可異、我耶和華已言之矣。俾爾饑饉、日漸匱乏、絶爾餱糧、滅爾生命、如亡以毒矢、不第降以饑饉、亦使暴獸攘爾子女、又使瘟疫鋒刃、臨於爾邦、耶和華已言之矣。

斯時也、妊婦乳婦其有禍乎、蓋此地必有大災、怒及斯民、

故耶和華曰、我有所命、爾不聽從、同儕同族、爾不縱之。則我必縱鋒刃以戮爾、縱饑饉以斃爾、縱疫癘以亡爾、散爾於列邦。昔猶大耶路撒冷方伯宦豎、祭司庶民、宰犢而中判之、由其中以過、立盟約於我前、厥後復渝此盟、不踐其言、

耶和華又曰、凡諸邦國、不肯服軛、事巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒者、必以鋒刃、饑饉瘟疫罰之、翦滅務盡。

如彼詰爾當往何處、爾必傳我命、告之曰、當死則死、當殺則殺、當饑則饑、當虜則虜。耶和華又曰、我降四災於厥身、刃以戮之、犬以嚙之、飛鳥以噬之、走獸以滅之。

四月九日、邑民糧罄饑甚。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒虜猶大王約雅金子約雅斤、及猶大諸牧伯、與木工鐵工、自耶路撒冷至巴比倫、厥後耶和華以二筐示予、中盛無花果、置於殿前、一筐之果甚嘉、如初熟之無花果、一筐之果甚劣、不可適口。耶和華問我曰、耶利米與、爾觀何物。曰、無花果、其嘉者甚嘉、其劣者甚劣、不堪適口。
