但预言平安的先知，除非他的话应验，人才会承认他确实是耶和华所差遣的先知。”

若有神言人傳平安為神言，就要等到話語應驗的時候，人才知道那神言人實在是永恆主所差遣的。』

先知預言平康、其言得應、則知其先知誠為耶和華所遣、

或言民得平康、苟其言有驗、則知其為耶和華所遣。

有先知預言將享平康、及至先知之言有驗、則知其先知、真為主所遣、

But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the Lord only if his prediction comes true.”

But what if a prophet says peace will come? And suppose peace really does come? Only then will he be recognized as a prophet truly sent by the Lord.”

As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then it will be known that the Lord has truly sent the prophet.”

So a prophet who predicts peace must show he is right. Only when his predictions come true can we know that he is really from the Lord.”

先知奉耶和华的名说话，所说的若没有实现，或不应验，这话就是耶和华未曾吩咐的，而是那先知擅自说的，你不必怕他。”

他们轻忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说：‘平安了！平安了！’其实没有平安。

我说：“哀哉！主耶和华啊，你真是大大欺哄这百姓和耶路撒冷，说：‘你们必得平安。’其实刀剑已经抵住喉咙了！”

他们诱惑我的百姓，说：‘平安！’其实没有平安，就像有人筑墙壁，看哪，他们倒去粉刷它。所以你要对那些粉刷的人说：‘墙要倒塌，暴雨漫过。你们大冰雹啊，要降下，狂风要吹裂这墙。’看哪，这墙倒塌，人岂不是要问你们说：‘你们所粉刷的在哪里呢？’”所以主耶和华如此说：“我要发怒，使狂风吹裂它，在怒中令暴雨漫过，又发怒降下大冰雹，毁坏它。我要这样拆毁你们那粉饰的墙，把它夷为平地，以致根基露出；墙一倒塌，你们也要在其中灭亡。你们就知道我是耶和华。我要对墙和粉刷它的人发尽我的愤怒，我要对你们说：‘墙没有了！粉刷它的人也没有了！’这就是以色列的先知，他们指着耶路撒冷说预言，见到这城平安的异象，其实没有平安。这是主耶和华说的。”
