以之付於使者之手、即詣耶路撒冷、覲猶大王西底家者、攜至以東王、摩押王、亞捫族之王、推羅王、西頓王、

有國使來自以東王、摩押王、亞捫王、推羅王、西頓王、至耶路撒冷、覲猶大王西底家、爾取縶與軛、使國使饋於列王、

隨後爾以索與軛、託於至耶路撒冷覲猶大王西底家使臣之手、予以東王、摩押王、亞捫族之王、推羅王、西頓王、

Then send word to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre and Sidon through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

Then write down a message for the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre and Sidon. Give it to their messengers who have come to Jerusalem. They have come to see Zedekiah, the king of Judah.

Then send messages to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon through their ambassadors who have come to see King Zedekiah in Jerusalem.

Send word to the king of Edom, the king of Moab, the king of the Ammonites, the king of Tyre, and the king of Sidon through messengers who are coming to King Zedekiah of Judah in Jerusalem.

Send word to the king of Edom, the king of Moab, the king of the Ammonites, the king of Tyre, and the king of Sidon through messengers who are coming to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem.

And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

Use it to send messages to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon. Send them through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to King Zedekiah of Judah.

Then send them to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the children of Ammon, to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

The word of the Lord came to me:“ Son of man, set your face toward the Ammonites and prophesy against them.Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said,‘ Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile,therefore behold, I am handing you over to the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and Ammon a fold for flocks. Then you will know that I am the Lord.For thus says the Lord God: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice within your soul against the land of Israel,therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you, and will hand you over as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.“ Thus says the Lord God: Because Moab and Seir said,‘ Behold, the house of Judah is like all the other nations,’therefore I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim.I will give it along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations,and I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.“ Thus says the Lord God: Because Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance on them,therefore thus says the Lord God, I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.“ Thus says the Lord God: Because the Philistines acted revengefully and took vengeance with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity,therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast.I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.”

“ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army labor hard against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was rubbed bare, yet neither he nor his army got anything from Tyre to pay for the labor that he had performed against her.

He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. He stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord, the God of Israel.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they delivered up a whole people to Edom, and did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.So I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour her strongholds.”Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger tore perpetually, and he kept his wrath forever.So I will send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah.”Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of the Ammonites, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have ripped open pregnant women in Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.So I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour her strongholds, with shouting on the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;and their king shall go into exile, he and his princes together,” says the Lord.Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because he burned to lime the bones of the king of Edom.So I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the strongholds of Kerioth, and Moab shall die amid uproar, amid shouting and the sound of the trumpet;I will cut off the ruler from its midst, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the Lord.

But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. Will he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he break the covenant and yet escape?“ As I live, declares the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, when mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives.He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape.Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head.I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon and enter into judgment with him there for the treachery he has committed against me.And all the pick of his troops shall fall by the sword, and the survivors shall be scattered to every wind, and you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken.”

Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his officials, all his people,and all the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines( Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastland across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who cut the corners of their hair;all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed tribes who dwell in the desert;all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;all the kings of the north, far and near, one after another, and all the kingdoms of the world that are on the face of the earth. And after them the king of Babylon shall drink.

The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh struck down Gaza.“ Thus says the Lord: Behold, waters are rising out of the north, and shall become an overflowing torrent; they shall overflow the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it. Men shall cry out, and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his stallions, at the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of their wheels, the fathers look not back to their children, so feeble are their hands,because of the day that is coming to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper that remains. For the Lord is destroying the Philistines, the remnant of the coastland of Caphtor.Baldness has come upon Gaza; Ashkelon has perished. O remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourselves?Ah, sword of the Lord! How long till you are quiet? Put yourself into your scabbard; rest and be still!How can it be quiet when the Lord has given it a charge? Against Ashkelon and against the seashore he has appointed it.”
