凡國願以其項負巴比倫王軛、而服事之、我必容其留於故土、耕種安居、耶和華言之矣、○

耶和華又曰、凡諸邦國、歸誠巴比倫王、負軛服事、我必使彼留故土、安於隴畝、適於厥居。

凡民願項負巴比倫王之軛而服事之、我必使彼存留故土、仍得耕種安居、此乃主所言、

But if any nation will bow its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let that nation remain in its own land to till it and to live there, declares the Lord.”’”

But suppose any nation will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon. And suppose it serves him. Then I will let that nation remain in its own land. I will let its people plow the land and live there,” ’ ” announces the Lord.

But any nation that will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave on its own land, to work it and dwell there, declares the Lord.”’”

But the people of any nation that submits to the king of Babylon will be allowed to stay in their own country to farm the land as usual. I, the Lord, have spoken!’”

But as for the nation that will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave it in its own land, and that nation will cultivate it and reside in it. This is the LORD’s declaration.”’”

But the nation that will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let remain on its land,’ declares the Lord,‘ and they will cultivate it and live in it.’ ” ’ ”

Things will go better for the nation that submits to the yoke of servitude to the king of Babylon and is subject to him. I will leave that nation in its native land. Its people can continue to farm it and live in it. I, the LORD, affirm it!”’”

But the nation that brings their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serves him, that nation I will let remain in their own land,’ says Yahweh;‘ and they will till it and dwell in it.’”’”

“‘無論哪一國、哪一邦，不服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，不把頸項放在巴比倫王的軛下，我必用刀劍、饑荒和瘟疫去懲罰那國，直到我藉著巴比倫王的手把他們完全消滅。’這是耶和華的宣告。

“耶和華這樣說：‘凡留在這城裡的，必因刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫而死；但出去向迦勒底人投降的，必可以活著；他們必撿回自己的性命，得以生存。’

沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利向他們和他們的士兵起誓，說：“你們不要懼怕服事迦勒底人，只管住在這地，服事巴比倫王，就可以平安無事。至於我，我要留在米斯巴，侍候那些來到我們這裡的迦勒底人。你們只管收存酒、夏天的果子和油，放在器皿裡，並且住在你們所佔有的城中。”那些在摩押、亞捫、以東和各地所有的猶大人，聽見了巴比倫王在猶大留下一些餘民，並且指派沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利管理他們，所有的猶大人就從被趕逐到的各地方回來，到猶大地的米斯巴去見基大利，並且收存了許多的酒和夏天的果子。

‘你們若決意住在這地，我就建立你們，必不拆毀；栽植你們，必不拔除；因我為那已經降在你們身上的災禍回心轉意。你們所怕的巴比倫王，你們不要懼怕他；你們不要懼怕他（這是耶和華的宣告），因為我與你們同在，要拯救你們，要搭救你們脫離他的手。

我照著這一切話對猶大王西底家說：“你們要把頸項放在巴比倫王的軛下，服事他和他的人民，就可以生存。
