我每逢讲话的时候，就哀叹，我喊叫：“有暴力和毁灭！”因为耶和华的话终日成了我的凌辱和讥刺。我若说：“我不再提耶和华，也不再奉他的名讲论”，我心里便觉得似乎有烧着的火闷在我骨中，我忍受不住，不能自禁。我听见许多的毁谤，四围都是惊吓；连我知己朋友都看着我跌倒：“告他吧，我们要告他！或者他被引诱，我们就能胜他，在他身上报仇。”然而，耶和华与我同在，好像可怕的勇士。因此，迫害我的都绊跌，不能得胜；他们大大蒙羞，由于行事没有智慧，必永远受那不能忘怀的羞辱。

园户拿住仆人，打了一个，杀了一个，用石头打死了一个。主人又打发别的仆人去，比先前更多；园户还是照样对待他们。最后他打发自己的儿子到他们那里去，说：‘他们会尊敬我的儿子。’可是，园户看见他儿子，彼此说：‘这是承受产业的。来，我们杀了他，占他的产业！’于是他们拿住他，把他扔出葡萄园外，杀了。

那时，祭司长和百姓的长老聚集在那称为该亚法的大祭司的院里。大家商议要设计捉拿耶稣，把他杀掉。

我责打你们的儿女是徒然的，他们不受管教。你们自己的刀吞灭你们的先知，好像残害人的狮子。

议会的人听了极其恼怒，想要杀他们。

祭司长和全议会寻找假见证控告耶稣，要处死他。虽然有好些人来作假见证，总找不到实据。最后有两个人前来，说：“这个人曾说：‘我能拆毁上帝的殿，三日内又建造起来。’”大祭司就站起来，对耶稣说：“这些人作证告你的事，你什么都不回答吗？”耶稣却不言语。大祭司对他说：“我指着永生上帝命令你起誓告诉我们，你是不是基督—上帝的儿子？”耶稣对他说：“你自己说了。然而，我告诉你们，此后你们要看见人子坐在权能者的右边，驾着天上的云来临。”大祭司就撕裂衣服，说：“他说了亵渎的话，我们何必再要证人呢？现在你们已经听见他这亵渎的话了。你们的意见如何？”他们回答：“他该处死。”

先知、圣徒和地上一切被杀的人的血都在这城里找到了。”

“你与步行的人同跑，尚且觉得累，怎能与马赛跑呢？你在安全之地尚且会跌倒，在约旦河边的丛林要怎么办呢？因为连你兄弟和你父家都以诡诈待你，甚至在你后边大声喊叫。虽然他们向你说好话，你也不要相信他们。”

他们说：“来吧！让我们设计谋害耶利米；因为我们有祭司讲律法，有智慧人设谋略，有先知说预言，都未曾断绝。来吧！让我们用舌头攻击他，不要理他一切的话。”

其余的抓住仆人，凌辱他们，把他们杀了。

这样，你们就证明自己是杀害先知的人的子孙了。你们去充满你们祖宗的恶贯吧！你们这些蛇啊，毒蛇的孽种啊，怎能逃脱地狱的惩罚呢？所以，我差遣先知、智慧人和文士到你们这里来，有的你们要杀害，要钉十字架；有的你们要在会堂里鞭打，从这城追逼到那城，如此，地上所有义人流的血都归到你们身上，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在圣所和祭坛中间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止。

他们却嘲笑上帝的使者，藐视他的话，讥诮他的先知，以致耶和华向他的百姓大发烈怒，甚至无法可救。

我像柔顺的羔羊被牵去宰杀，并不知道他们设计谋害我：“我们把树连果子都灭了吧！把他从活人之地剪除，使他的名不再被记得。”按公义判断、察验人肺腑心肠的万军之耶和华啊，求你使我得见你在他们身上报仇，因我已将我的案件向你禀明了。所以，耶和华论到寻索你命的亚拿突人如此说：“他们说：你不要奉耶和华的名说预言，免得你死在我们手中。
