King Jehoiakim, however, sent Elnathan son of Akbor to Egypt, along with some other men.

So King Jehoiakim sent Elnathan to Egypt. He also sent some other men along with him. Elnathan was the son of Akbor.

Then King Jehoiakim sent to Egypt certain men, Elnathan the son of Achbor and others with him,

Then King Jehoiakim sent Elnathan son of Acbor to Egypt along with several other men to capture Uriah.

he went down to the king’s house, into the scribe’s chamber. And behold, all the officials were sitting there— Elishama the scribe, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the other officials.

So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe( and she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter); and they spoke to her.

Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant, saying,

Even though Elnathan, Delaiah, and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them.

The wicked strut about on every side When vileness is exalted among the sons of mankind.

If a ruler pays attention to falsehood, All his ministers become wicked.
