猶大王希西家與猶大庶民、何嘗殺之、惟希西家敬畏主、祈禱主、則主更易其志、不降所言欲降之災、我儕今竟欲行此大惡、自取罪戾、

犹大王希西家和犹大众人岂是把他治死呢？希西家岂不是敬畏耶和华、恳求他的恩吗？耶和华就后悔，不把自己所说的灾祸降与他们。若治死这人，我们就作了大恶，自害己命。”

“犹大王希西家和犹大人岂是把他处死呢？希西家岂不是敬畏耶和华，恳求耶和华施恩吗？耶和华就改变心意，不把所说的灾祸降与他们。若处死这人，我们就做了大恶，害死自己了。”

“犹大王希西家和犹大人岂是把他处死呢？希西家岂不是敬畏耶和华，恳求耶和华施恩吗？耶和华就改变心意，不把所说的灾祸降与他们。若处死这人，我们就做了大恶，害死自己了。”

“但犹大王希西迦和犹大众人并没有处死他。希西迦敬畏耶和华，求祂开恩，耶和华才施怜悯，没有把原本预备的灾祸降给他们。若处死这人，我们会大祸临头。”

犹大王希西家和犹大众人可曾把他处死呢？希西家不是敬畏耶和华，求他开恩，以致耶和华回心转意，没有把他所说的灾祸降在他们身上吗？但我们现在竟自招大祸。”

猶大王希西家和猶大眾人豈是把他治死呢？希西家豈不是敬畏耶和華、懇求他的恩嗎？耶和華就後悔，不把自己所說的災禍降與他們。若治死這人，我們就作了大惡，自害己命。」（

「猶大王希西家和猶大人豈是把他處死呢？希西家豈不是敬畏耶和華，懇求耶和華施恩嗎？耶和華就改變心意，不把所說的災禍降與他們。若處死這人，我們就做了大惡，害死自己了。」

「猶大王希西家和猶大人豈是把他處死呢？希西家豈不是敬畏耶和華，懇求耶和華施恩嗎？耶和華就改變心意，不把所說的災禍降與他們。若處死這人，我們就做了大惡，害死自己了。」

「但猶大王希西迦和猶大眾人並沒有處死他。希西迦敬畏耶和華，求祂開恩，耶和華才施憐憫，沒有把原本預備的災禍降給他們。若處死這人，我們會大禍臨頭。」

猶大王希西家和猶大眾人可曾把他處死呢？希西家不是敬畏耶和華，求他開恩，以致耶和華回心轉意，沒有把他所說的災禍降在他們身上嗎？但我們現在竟自招大禍。”

猶大王希西家和猶大眾人哪有把他治死呢？希西家豈不是敬畏永恆主，求他的情面；而永恆主就改變心意、不降他所說要降與他們的災禍麼？但我們呢、我們竟要行個大惡、來害自己的性命了！』

猶大王希西家、及猶大眾、豈致之於死乎、王非寅畏耶和華、而求其恩、致耶和華回意、不降所言之災乎、今我行此、乃自害己命耳、

猶大王希西家、與猶大庶民、未嘗加斯人以殺戮、惟敬畏耶和華、求其恩祐、故災害不果降、我今若殺耶利米、必罹禍災。

“ Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did not Hezekiah fear the Lord and seek his favor? And did not the Lord relent, so that he did not bring the disaster he pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!”

Did King Hezekiah or anyone else in Judah put Micah to death? Hezekiah had respect for the Lord and tried to please him. And the Lord didn’t judge Jerusalem as he said he would. He didn’t bring on it the trouble he said he would bring. But we are about to bring horrible trouble on ourselves!”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord, and did not the Lord relent of the disaster that he had pronounced against them? But we are about to bring great disaster upon ourselves.”

But did King Hezekiah and the people kill him for saying this? No, they turned from their sins and worshiped the Lord. They begged him for mercy. Then the Lord changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had pronounced against them. So we are about to do ourselves great harm.”

Did King Hezekiah of Judah and all the people of Judah put him to death? Did not the king fear the LORD and plead for the LORD’s favor, and did not the LORD relent concerning the disaster he had pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah actually put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and plead for the favor of the Lord, and the Lord relented of the disaster which He had pronounced against them? But we are committing a great evil against our own lives!”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah ever put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and seek the LORD’s favor? And the Lord relented concerning the doom which He had pronounced against them. But we are doing great evil against ourselves.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? did he not fear Jehovah, and entreat the favor of Jehovah, and Jehovah repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus should we commit great evil against our own souls.

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all the people of Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and plead for the Lord’s favor, and did not the Lord relent concerning the disaster He had pronounced against them? We are about to bring great harm on ourselves!”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

King Hezekiah and all the people of Judah did not put him to death, did they? Did not Hezekiah show reverence for the LORD and seek the LORD’s favor? Did not the LORD forgo destroying them as he threatened he would? But we are on the verge of bringing great disaster on ourselves.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Didn’t he fear Yahweh, and entreat the favor of Yahweh, and Yahweh relented of the disaster which he had pronounced against them? We would commit great evil against our own souls that way!”

於是主悔其前言、或作轉怒回瞋不降所言之禍於己民、

天使向耶路撒冷舉手、以滅其居民、以滅其居民原文作以滅之主悔降此災、或作主心回意轉不欲復降此災遂諭滅民之使者曰、今足矣、可止爾手、其時主之使者在耶布斯人亞勞拿之禾場、

我祖父獲罪、行惡於主我列祖之天主前、違棄主、不顧其聖所、封閉大廊之門、滅其燈、不焚香、不在聖所獻火焚祭於以色列之天主、故主震怒猶大及耶路撒冷、使遭患難、受驚恐、被恥笑、如爾目睹、我祖父緣此被刀殺、我子女我妻緣此被擄掠、今我有意立約、必歸主以色列之天主、或作今我有意與主以色列之天主立約或主向我息怒、我子歟、今勿懈怠、蓋主選爾曹、侍立其前、奉事焚香、

希西家禱於主前曰、居二基路伯間萬有之主以色列之天主歟、惟主為天下萬國之天主、天地乃主所造、求主側耳垂聽、求主啟目垂顧、聽西拿基立遣使毀謗永生天主之言、主歟、亞述列王、毀滅列民與其國、以火焚其神、誠有此事、但其神非天主、非天主或作非真神乃木石之偶像、人手所造者、故被毀滅、

然希西家不報答主恩、中心驕傲、故主向彼與猶大及耶路撒冷震怒、後、希西家除其驕心、與耶路撒冷居民自卑、故希西家存日、主不降之以災、○

希西家聞之、自裂其衣、衣麻、入主之殿、

若出於天主、爾曹不能毀之、且恐敵天主也、

亞述王遣拉伯沙基毀謗永生天主、主爾之天主、或聞其言而加以譴責、求爾為此尚存之餘民祈禱、

今遭此災、因先知祭司陷於罪愆、於邑中殺戮無辜、殺戮無辜原文作流義人之血彼若瞽者、往來於市、被血污染、人不可捫其衣、

希西家王與亞摩斯子先知以賽亞、因此祈禱、向天呼籲、

天乎、諸聖徒及諸先知乎、爾曹當歡樂、因天主已報之為爾伸冤、○有一大力之天使、舉石大如磨磐者投於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、亦必如是猝然傾頹、不復得見、鼓琴、作樂、品簫、吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者與新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、爾之商賈、乃世之居尊位者、萬國皆以爾巫術而迷惑、諸先知與聖徒及天下一切見殺者之血、皆見於此邑中、

爾謀不義、貽羞己家、殲民眾多、自取罪戾、

此犯罪喪命之人、以爐獻於主前、爐即成為聖物、當搗之成葉、以飾祭臺、為以色列人作誌、

致地上流義人之血、皆歸於爾、即自義人亞伯之血、至爾所殺於殿及祭臺間巴拉迦子撒迦利亞之血也、

分封之王希律、因其弟腓立妻希羅底事、及所行諸惡、見責於約翰、遂加增一惡、囚約翰於獄、○

世人流聖徒及先知之血、今主以血予之飲、彼受此報、宜也、

毋污爾所居之地、殺人流血、即為污其地、若殺人流血於地、不殺殺人者流其血、則地不得潔、毋污爾所居之地、因我耶和華亦居此地、在以色列人中、

今主萬有之天主以色列之天主如是云、爾曹何為行此大惡、自罹其咎、使爾男女、孩提、嬰兒、悉絕於猶大族中、致無一人存留、

彼拉多見言之無益、愈以生亂、乃取水在眾前盥手、曰、流此義人之血、非我之罪、爾自當之、眾民對曰、其血歸我及我子孫、

庶幾彼眾聽從、各舍惡途、則我心回意轉、不降我因其惡行所欲降彼之災、

然爾當知如爾殺我、則殺無辜、使罪歸爾身與斯邑、及其居民、因主實遣我就爾、以此諸言告爾、

蓋主離其所、欲討地上居民之罪、地必顯露流入其中之血、不復掩蓋其上見殺者之屍、

爾往為我、為以色列及猶大之餘民、因此書之言、問於主、我列祖不守主之言、不遵此書所載而行、主必向我大震烈怒、

既啟第五印、我見祭臺下、有為天主之道、及為所證之證被殺者之魂、大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主歟、不審判居於地之人、為我儕伸流血之冤、將至何時、
