“ Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah. He told all the people of Judah,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says:“‘ Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.’

“ Micah from Moresheth prophesied. It was during the time Hezekiah was king over Judah. Micah spoke to all the people of Judah. A thicket will grow on the heights where the Temple now stands.’

猶大王約坦、亞哈斯和希西迦執政期間，耶和華把祂的話傳給了摩利沙人彌迦。他看到了有關撒瑪利亞和耶路撒冷的異象。

山野間的祭壇和亞舍拉神像。因為他們境內的罪惡，我必使敵人擄掠他們的財寶和神廟。

所以，因你們的緣故，錫安必像田地被耕犁，耶路撒冷必淪為廢墟，聖殿山必成為荒林之岡。在末後的日子，耶和華殿所在的山必超乎群山，高過眾嶺，萬民都要歸向它。

在末後的日子，耶和華殿所在的山必聳立，高過群山，超過萬嶺，萬族都要湧向它。眾民都必來，說：「來吧！讓我們登耶和華的山，去雅各之上帝的殿。祂必將祂的路指示給我們，使我們走祂的道。」因為訓誨必出於錫安，耶和華的話語必來自耶路撒冷。

上帝啊，外族人侵佔你的產業，玷污你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷淪為廢墟。

耶和華說：「我要使耶路撒冷淪為廢墟，成為豺狼出沒之地；我要使猶大的城邑荒涼，不見人煙。」

「『難道你不知道這是我在太初所定、在亙古就籌畫好的嗎？如今我實現了所定的計劃——藉著你使堅城淪為廢墟。

巴比倫必淪為廢墟，杳無人跡，淪為豺狼出沒的地方，令人驚懼、嗤笑。
