首领和众民就对祭司、先知说：“这人是不该死的，因为他是奉耶和华我们神的名向我们说话。”

官長和眾百姓對祭司和先知說：「這人是不該死的，因為他奉耶和華－我們上帝的名向我們說話。」

牧伯庶民謂祭司先知曰、斯人不當死、彼託我上帝耶和華名、言於我也、

諸方伯庶民、告祭司先知、曰、此人藉我上帝耶和華之名而言、不可殺也。

眾牧伯與民眾、告諸祭司與諸先知曰、斯人不當擬死罪、因奉主我天主之命而言於我儕、

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man should not be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people spoke to the priests and prophets. They said,“ This man shouldn’t be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man does not deserve the sentence of death, for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and the people said to the priests and prophets,“ This man does not deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people told the priests and prophets,“ This man doesn’t deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God!”

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ No death sentence for this man! For he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

So the princes and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man does not deserve to die. For he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of Jehovah our God.

Then the officials and all the people told the priests and prophets,“ This man doesn’t deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our God!”

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man[ is] not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.

Then the officials and all the people rendered their verdict to the priests and the prophets. They said,“ This man should not be condemned to die. For he has spoken to us under the authority of the LORD our God.”

Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets:“ This man is not worthy of death; for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our God.”

但有一个法利赛人，名叫迦玛列，是众百姓所敬重的教法师，在公会中站起来，吩咐人把使徒暂且带到外面去，就对众人说：“以色列人哪，论到这些人，你们应当小心怎样办理。从前丢大起来，自夸为大，附从他的人约有四百，他被杀后，附从他的全都散了，归于无有。此后，报名上册的时候，又有加利利的犹大起来，引诱些百姓跟从他；他也灭亡，附从他的人也都四散了。现在，我劝你们不要管这些人，任凭他们吧！他们所谋的、所行的，若是出于人，必要败坏；若是出于神，你们就不能败坏他们，恐怕你们倒是攻击神了。”

于是大大地喧嚷起来。有几个法利赛党的文士站起来争辩说：“我们看不出这人有什么恶处，倘若有鬼魂或是天使对他说过话，怎么样呢？”

便查知他被告是因他们律法的辩论，并没有什么该死该绑的罪名。

以利拿单和第莱雅，并基玛利雅恳求王不要烧这书卷，他却不听。

众首领对巴录说：“你和耶利米要去藏起来，不可叫人知道你们在哪里。”

但我查明他没有犯什么该死的罪，并且他自己上告于皇帝，所以我定意把他解去。

此时你若闭口不言，犹大人必从别处得解脱，蒙拯救；你和你父家必致灭亡。焉知你得了王后的位分不是为现今的机会吗？”

巡抚说：“为什么呢？他做了什么恶事呢？”他们便极力地喊着说：“把他钉十字架！”彼拉多见说也无济于事，反要生乱，就拿水在众人面前洗手，说：“流这义人的血，罪不在我，你们承当吧。”

退到里面，彼此谈论说：“这人并没有犯什么该死该绑的罪。”亚基帕又对非斯都说：“这人若没有上告于凯撒，就可以释放了。”

百夫长和一同看守耶稣的人看见地震并所经历的事，就极其害怕，说：“这真是神的儿子了！”

在王宫的太监古实人以伯米勒，听见他们将耶利米下了牢狱（那时王坐在便雅悯门口），以伯米勒就从王宫里出来，对王说：“主我的王啊，这些人向先知耶利米一味地行恶，将他下在牢狱中；他在那里必因饥饿而死，因为城中再没有粮食。”王就吩咐古实人以伯米勒说：“你从这里带领三十人，趁着先知耶利米未死以前，将他从牢狱中提上来。”于是以伯米勒带领这些人同去，进入王宫，到库房以下，从那里取了些碎布和破烂的衣服，用绳子缒下牢狱去到耶利米那里。古实人以伯米勒对耶利米说：“你用这些碎布和破烂的衣服放在绳子上，垫你的胳肢窝。”耶利米就照样行了。这样，他们用绳子将耶利米从牢狱里拉上来。耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中。

就对他们说：“你们解这人到我这里，说他是诱惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾将你们告他的事，在你们面前审问他，并没有查出他什么罪来；就是希律也是如此，所以把他送回来。可见他没有做什么该死的事。

祭司、先知对首领和众民说：“这人是该死的；因为他说预言攻击这城，正如你们亲耳所听见的。”

人所行的，若蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。

我们是应该的，因我们所受的与我们所做的相称，但这个人没有做过一件不好的事。”

百夫长看见所成的事，就归荣耀与神，说：“这真是个义人！”
