如爾忘爾上帝耶和華、而從他神、事之拜之、必致滅亡、今日我以戒爾、

所羅門年邁時、后妃誘之、附於他神、不專心從其上帝耶和華、如父大衛、乃從西頓人之女神亞斯他錄、及亞捫人可憎之神米勒公、所羅門行耶和華所惡、不效其父大衛、盡心從耶和華、在耶路撒冷東之山、為摩押可憎之神基抹、與亞捫人可憎之神摩洛築壇、為其異族后妃亦行此、彼皆焚香獻祭與其神、○耶和華怒所羅門、因其心轉離以色列之上帝耶和華、二次見於彼者、耶和華命其不可從事他神、彼乃不遵其命、
