“ Then you are to say to them,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk, and vomit. Fall down and never get up again, as a result of the sword I am sending among you.’

“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不得再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。’

“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华—以色列的神如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。’

耶和华对我说：“你要告诉他们，以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，‘你们要喝这杯烈怒，喝得大醉、呕吐、倒地不起，因为我要使战争临到你们。’

“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：你们要喝，并要喝醉，呕吐，以致跌倒，不能再起来，因为我打发刀剑到你们中间去。’

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不得再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

耶和華對我說：「你要告訴他們，以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，『你們要喝這杯烈怒，喝得大醉、嘔吐、倒地不起，因為我要使戰爭臨到你們。』

“你要對他們說：‘萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：你們要喝，並要喝醉，嘔吐，以致跌倒，不能再起來，因為我打發刀劍到你們中間去。’

『你要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你們要喝到醉，到嘓嘓吐，以致倒下去，不能再起來，是因為刀劍的緣故，就是我所打發到你們中間去的。」

爾當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾其飲之而醉、至於哇吐、顚躓而不復起、因我使鋒刃入於爾中也、

爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華云、予必擊爾以鋒刃、當飲斯爵、至於酩酊、至於哇吐、顛躓不起。

爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾曹當飲、飲醉以致吐哇、傾仆不起、因我必使鋒刃之災臨爾曹、

“ Then tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.’

The Lord says,“ Tell them,‘ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ Drink from this cup. Get drunk and throw up. Fall down and do not get up again. I am going to send war against you.” ’

“ Then you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, be drunk and vomit, fall and rise no more, because of the sword that I am sending among you.’

Then the Lord said to me,“ Now tell them,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: Drink from this cup of my anger. Get drunk and vomit; fall to rise no more, for I am sending terrible wars against you.’

“ And you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Drink, be drunk, vomit, fall down, and do not get up, because of the sword which I am sending among you.” ’

“ Therefore you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Drink, be drunk, and vomit! Fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

“ Then you are to say to them: This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk, and vomit. Fall down and never get up again, as a result of the sword I am sending among you.

Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Tell them that the LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,‘ Drink this cup until you get drunk and vomit. Drink until you fall down and can’t get up. For I will send wars sweeping through you.’

“ You shall tell them,‘ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says:“ Drink, and be drunk, vomit, fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’

You will be filled with disgrace instead of glory. You also— drink, and expose your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and utter disgrace will cover your glory.

They will drink, stagger, and go out of their minds because of the sword I am sending among them.”

So rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom, you resident of the land of Uz! Yet the cup will pass to you as well; you will get drunk and expose yourself.

Since I will cut off both the righteous and the wicked, my sword will therefore come out of its sheath against all humanity from the south to the north.So all humanity will know that I, the LORD, have taken my sword from its sheath— it will not be sheathed again.’

So listen to this, suffering and drunken one— but not with wine.

I crushed nations in my anger; I made them drunk with my wrath and poured out their blood on the ground.

I will make my arrows drunk with blood while my sword devours flesh— the blood of the slain and the captives, the heads of the enemy leaders.”

That day belongs to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance to avenge himself against his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satisfied; it will drink its fill of their blood, because it will be a sacrifice to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, in the northern land by the Euphrates River.

Announce it in Egypt, and proclaim it in Migdol! Proclaim it in Memphis and in Tahpanhes! Say,“ Take positions! Prepare yourself, for the sword devours all around you.”

A sword is over the Chaldeans— this is the LORD’s declaration— against those who live in Babylon, against her officials, and against her sages.

Oh, sword of the LORD! How long will you be restless? Go back to your sheath; be still; be silent!How can it rest when the LORD has given it a command? He has assigned it against Ashkelon and the shore of the sea.

Say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the desire of your heart. Also, the sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword.Then you will do just as I have done: You will not cover your mustache or eat the bread of mourners.Your turbans will remain on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You will not lament or weep but will waste away because of your iniquities and will groan to one another.Now Ezekiel will be a sign for you. You will do everything that he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’“ As for you, son of man, know that on that day I will take from them their stronghold— their pride and joy, the delight of their eyes, and the longing of their hearts— as well as their sons and daughters.

Over all the barren heights in the wilderness the destroyers have come, for the LORD has a sword that devours from one end of the earth to the other. No one has peace.
