the foreigners living in Egypt; all the kings of the land of Uz; all the kings of the land of the Philistines, the people of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, the people who had been left alive from Ashdod;

在法老攻击迦萨之前，耶和华论非利士人的话临到耶利米先知。耶和华如此说：看哪，有水从北方涨起，成为涨溢的河，要淹没全地和其中所充满的，淹没城和城里的居民。人必呼喊，境内的居民都必哀号。一听见敌人壮马蹄踏的响声、战车隆隆、车轮轰轰，为父的手就发软，不能回头看顾儿女。因为日子将到，耶和华必毁灭所有非利士人，剪除推罗、西顿仅存的帮助者；他要毁灭非利士人、迦斐托海岛剩余的人。迦萨成了光秃，亚实基伦归于无有。平原中所剩的啊，你割划自己，要到几时呢？耶和华的刀剑哪，你要到几时才止息呢？要入鞘，安静不动。耶和华吩咐它攻击亚实基伦和海边之地，既已派定它，你怎能静止不动呢？

又有许多不同族群的人，以及众多的羊群牛群，和他们一同上去。

迦萨必遭遗弃，亚实基伦必然荒凉；亚实突人必在正午被赶出，以革伦也要连根拔除。祸哉，住沿海之地的基利提人！迦南、非利士人之地啊，耶和华的话攻击你们：我必毁灭你，以致无人居住。沿海之地要变为草场，牧人的住处和羊群的圈。这地必为犹大家的余民所得；他们要在那里放牧，晚上躺卧在亚实基伦的房屋中；因为耶和华—他们的上帝必眷顾他们，使被掳的人归回。

亚兰的儿子是乌斯、户勒、基帖、玛施。

那些日子，我又看见犹太人娶了亚实突、亚扪和摩押的女子为妻。他们的儿女，一半说亚实突话，或其他种族的方言，不会说犹大话。我就斥责他们，诅咒他们，打了他们几个人，拔下他们的胡须，叫他们指着上帝起誓：“你们不可把自己的女儿嫁给外邦人的儿子，也不可为自己和儿子娶他们的女儿。以色列王所罗门不也在这样的事上犯罪吗？在许多国家中并没有一位王像他，蒙他上帝喜爱，上帝立他作王治理全以色列。然而，连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。我们岂能听凭你们行这一切大恶，娶外邦女子干犯我们的上帝呢？”

非利士人献给耶和华作赔罪的金痔疮像如下：一个为亚实突，一个为迦萨，一个为亚实基伦，一个为迦特，一个为以革伦。

闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德、亚兰、乌斯、户勒、基帖和米设。

“主耶和华如此说：因非利士人报仇，就是心存轻蔑报仇；他们永怀仇恨，意图毁灭，所以主耶和华如此说：看哪，我要伸手攻击非利士人，剪除基利提人，灭绝沿海剩余的居民。我要大大报复他们，发怒斥责他们。我报复他们的时候，他们就知道我是耶和华。”

亚实基伦看见必惧怕，迦萨看见甚痛苦，以革伦因失了盼望而蒙羞；迦萨必不再有君王，亚实基伦也不再有人居住，混血的人要住在亚实突；我必除灭非利士人的骄傲。我要除去他口中带血之肉和牙齿内可憎之物。他必作余民归于我们的上帝，在犹大像族长一样；以革伦必如耶布斯人。

长子乌斯、他的兄弟布斯、亚兰的父亲基摩利、

耶和华如此说：“迦萨三番四次犯罪，掳掠全体百姓交给以东，我必不撤销对它的惩罚。我要降火在迦萨城内，吞灭它的宫殿；我要剪除亚实突的居民和亚实基伦的掌权者，反手攻击以革伦，剩余的非利士人都必灭亡。”这是主耶和华说的。
