and all the foreign people there; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines( those of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the people left at Ashdod);

all the people from other lands who lived there all the kings of Uz the Philistine kings of Ashkelon, Gaza and Ekron the Philistines still living in Ashdod

and all the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines( Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);

along with all the foreigners living in that land. I also gave it to all the kings of the land of Uz and the kings of the Philistine cities of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and what remains of Ashdod.

and all the mixed peoples; all the kings of the land of Uz; all the kings of the land of the Philistines— Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

and to all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines( that is, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);

all the mixed multitude, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines( namely, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);

the foreigners living in Egypt; all the kings of the land of Uz; all the kings of the land of the Philistines, the people of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, the people who had been left alive from Ashdod;

and all the mixed people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the Philistines, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name[ was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.

In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod,( when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;

A sword[ is] upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that[ are] in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword[ is] upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.

And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,

The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong[ horses], at the rushing of his chariots,[ and at] the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to[ their] children for feebleness of hands;Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines,[ and] to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off[ with] the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?O thou sword of the LORD, how long[ will it be] ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.

And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds,[ even] very much cattle.

For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD[ is] against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.And the sea coast shall be dwellings[ and] cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

In those days also saw I Jews[ that] had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon,[ and] of Moab:And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews’ language, but according to the language of each people.And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,[ saying], Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?

And these[ are] the golden emerods which the Philistines returned[ for] a trespass offering unto the LORD; for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;

The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy[ it] for the old hatred;Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

Ashkelon shall see[ it], and fear; Gaza also[ shall see it], and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he,[ shall be] for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.

Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away[ the punishment] thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver[ them] up to Edom:But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
