“我要从他们中间除掉欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光。

我又要止息他們歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新娘的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光。

我又要止息他們歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新娘的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光。

我要使他們的歡樂聲、新郎新娘的歡笑聲、推磨聲和燈光都消失。

“我要從他們中間除掉歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，推磨的聲音和燈的亮光。

我也必使歡躍的聲音和喜樂的聲音、新郎的聲音和新婦的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光、從他們中間都息滅掉。

且我必於其中、絕其歡欣喜樂之聲、新娶者及新婦之聲、旋磨之音、燈火之光、

不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。

必使其中、再無欣喜之聲、歡樂之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、旋磨之聲、亦使再無燈光、

I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will put an end to the sounds of joy and gladness. I will put an end to the voices of brides and grooms. The sound of grinding millstones will not be heard anymore. And lamps will not be lit anymore.

Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your millstones will fall silent, and the lights in your homes will go out.

I will eliminate the sound of joy and gladness from them— the voice of the groom and the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover, I will eliminate from them the voice of jubilation and the voice of joy, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

那時，我必使猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，都止息了，因為地必成為荒場。」

我必使你唱歌的聲音止息；人也不再聽見你彈琴的聲音。

彈琴、作樂、吹笛、吹號的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽見；各行手藝人在你中間決不能再遇見；推磨的聲音在你中間決不能再聽見；燈光在你中間決不能再照耀；新郎和新婦的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽見。你的客商原來是地上的尊貴人；萬國也被你的邪術迷惑了。

因為萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們還活着的日子在你們眼前，我必使歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，從這地方止息了。

耶和華如此說：「你們論這地方，說是荒廢無人民無牲畜之地，但在這荒涼無人民無牲畜的猶大城邑和耶路撒冷的街上，必再聽見有歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新婦的聲音，並聽見有人說：要稱謝萬軍之耶和華，因耶和華本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！又有奉感謝祭到耶和華殿中之人的聲音；因為我必使這地被擄的人歸回，和起初一樣。這是耶和華說的。」

因我和我的本族被賣了，要剪除殺戮滅絕我們。我們若被賣為奴為婢，我也閉口不言；但王的損失，敵人萬不能補足。」

諭旨中，王准各省各城的猶大人在一日之間，十二月，就是亞達月十三日，聚集保護性命，剪除殺戮滅絕那要攻擊猶大人的一切仇敵和他們的妻子兒女，奪取他們的財為掠物。

不要等到日頭、光明、月亮、星宿變為黑暗，雨後雲彩返回，看守房屋的發顫，有力的屈身，推磨的稀少就止息，從窗戶往外看的都昏暗；街門關閉，推磨的響聲微小，雀鳥一叫，人就起來，唱歌的女子也都衰微。

我也必使她的宴樂、節期、月朔、安息日，並她的一切大會都止息了。

新酒悲哀，葡萄樹衰殘；心中歡樂的俱都歎息。擊鼓之樂止息；宴樂人的聲音完畢，彈琴之樂也止息了。人必不得飲酒唱歌；喝濃酒的，必以為苦。荒涼的城拆毀了；各家關門閉戶，使人都不得進去。在街上因酒有悲歎的聲音；一切喜樂變為昏暗；地上的歡樂歸於無有。城中只有荒涼；城門拆毀淨盡。

交給驛卒傳到王的各省，吩咐將猶大人，無論老少婦女孩子，在一日之間，十二月，就是亞達月十三日，全然剪除，殺戮滅絕，並奪他們的財為掠物。
